	"Pinocchio Hunts Gold Eggs in Hit Production" Of all the Stageworld/Boardwalk children’s theatre shows from the Fick/Pieterse team in recent years, this production has to rate as one of the very best to date. A crisp storyline (60 minutes and easily understandable by the littlies at whom it is aimed), catchy songs, energetic dance routines, colourful costumes and props all add to the enjoyment, even by adults.(Bob Eveleigh: The Herald)

	"Grease is Still the Word" One of the high points in Grease is the school dance - including two energetic numbers, the "High School Hop" and "Born to Hand Jive". While David Fick's choreography was impeccable throughout, it was this scene that stole the show and managed to showcase the impressive dancing abilities of the entire cast.... The care, detail and time taken in the snappy direction, the exciting choreography and excellent cast made Grease an amazing success, leaving the audience begging for more. 	"Adult guests prove to be a big hit in Showtime 2005" Of the trio, David is by far the most experienced. He was a fixture in the cast in the late 1990s, rising to principal level as arts journalist Barry Riter in the 1997 edition. He then made two guest appearances, notably impersonating Frank Sinatra and David Kramer in brilliant solo bits, before heading off to the University of Cape Town to study musical theatre in all its aspects.
