| December 25th is Right Day to celebrate Christmas Maybe Christmas 25th is the absolutely right day to celebrate Christmas, the BIRTH OF CHRIST, even though we have been told otherwise by many skeptics. For interestingly the Messianic birth was foretold in the constellations. (SEE Messianic Story written in the Stars) And this is why the wise astrolgers from the East were enticed and determined to follow the STAR OF BETHLEHEM. they saw from their far country. They were obviously educated and knowledgeable in astrology just as it was said Abraham was, who came from the same area called Ur in Babylon. So now consider this website HYPERLINK with graphics of these constellations, mainly Virgo, and Bootes, and the Serpent and see if you are wise enough to follow its directions as did the wise men of Old. Psalm 19 In other words, the design of the constellations in the heavens can speak to us, if we have studied them as did the ancients. So from this and other reasons, I can agree with these wise men understanding the Messianic Story written in the night sky, and the way Bootes, Virgo and the Serpent interact, directly south of Bethlehem on December 25th. But this doesn't explain why this yearly cycle was any different the year Jesus was born.. These constellations were always in this positioning since the Lord created them. (SEE Genesis 1) Consequently I still believe, these wise men saw a 'Shining Angel' over Jerusalem rather than a star a million billion miles away. This shining angel being the same as the angel that shone so brightly to the shepherds in the fields near Bethlehem, And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. (Luke 2) This meaning it is easier to understand, how this shining angel could have been the star that went before the wise men and stayed right over the manager where Mary had given birth. Mathew 2: 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. But let's not go further and see how in my opinion, the constellations DID show an amazing truth in the sky, when pointing to the south from Jerusalem towards Bethlehem in the south. For it was afterwards on December 25th that they went south, as directed by the constellations as it's rising and the rising or increasing of the SUN / SON.. Awesome in my opinion, as I didn't know the sun was dead for three days after the equinox, and didn't know the parallel that it would rise again in the Messianic Story exactly on December 25th. So to this reasoning of the stars and constellations and perfect set up and rotations of the Earth etc... I would say DECEMBER 25th is the exact birthday of the LORD, our Saviour. For similarly, do notice that in my opinion, the end in 2012 comes on December 21st, probably at sun down. This being the Equinox, and the darkest day of the year. But that doesn't exactly jive with Christmas and the birth of a whole new Nation, the Second Coming. (SEE Prophecy Timelines) Add three and a half days to December 21 at dusk and you have December 25th at sun rise, meaning SON RISE...and the Second Coming. Did you catch it ? So maybe something to ponder and pray about this Christmas, as maybe CHRISTMAS is on the exact right day, according to the stars, and according to PROPHECY.
