Is Prostitution ....... Right ? Of course not, but we all do what we have to do to survive and keep our families fed. We all are under the curse, of needing to work to make ends meet and we all sell our bodies in some way or other. Some of us do it for an hourly wage, a monthly salary, and others for a guaranteed outcome. We try our best to please if we want to stay in that business and keep food on the table. So is prostitution any worse than selling our bodies to a corporate company or a private citizen, I think very similar. Sure it’s a very dangerous occupation on the street, which takes great courage to face. But some prostitutes do it not for the just the monetary gain, but because they have to feed their children. Why, because in some countries like the 3rd world, some girls get pregnant and then aren't married because society deems them tainted as if only virgins are righteous enough for their type of unholy wedlock. These girls have no other skills and just use what they have to take care of their children usually under the care of a grandmother or mother back home. Is it right or is it wrong? In my opinion, it all depends on the individual case, and only the Lord knows the true motivation of their hearts and the absolute conditions they are under? And He will reward them, if they are sacrificng for their children to put food on their table when the man or their own families won't. If they are doing it for drugs or liquor like some Western prostitutes again, the judgment is up to the Lord. For maybe again, the damnable system drove them to it, and they need to get delivered from its precepts and false teaching as well as out of the drugs and alcholol domination. For it all depends, because this is why the Lord was close to them. They were humble because they had been humbled and when they meet Jesus, they loved Him instantly and forever and became many of His Virgin brides, no matter how many times they had done it with others. (See Mary Magdalene post) So when we work for money and sell our bodies for food and shelter is that wrong...not necessarily if we are sharing and caring and using it wisely and for the Lord and His children. For we also wish we didn't have to work for the system. I wish I didn't have to work in the forests (for the summer months) to help my kids education at school, but it is needed. And just like the hard streets, it is very dangerous out there and maybe I should be in a safer situation. But that's the job that came along and we all have to do what we have to do, with what we have. Does it get me dirty ? Yes, Do I have to sweat it out ? Yes, and for what ..... money ... Yes Sufficiency enough for our kids to get an education as the extra money is needed to send them onto university. Is it much different from prostitution ... No very similar. So is the Lord just looking at our sex organs or is He looking at our hearts ? I would suggest to you that he is looking at our hearts and He will reward us accordingly and keep us safe accordingly until He delivers us out of the curse and into His Kingdom.
