| David Jay Jordan Thinking of Suicide The taking of life is wrong, even if we do it to ourselves. It doesn’t help anything, as while there is life there is always hope. No matter how bad things look in the present, somehow someway things can change, circumstances can change and the pieces of our life can come together so we can be happy again. We just can’t give up prematurely. Life is a fight and we can’t give up and surrender. The Lord who gave us life, has promised that we won’t be faced with more than we can handle. He says, Mathew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Why, because He only gives us enough strength for that day and not for tomorrow. We only have to fight the battles of today and not look too far beyond. 1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it Sure we all get down and depressed sometimes, and all of us surely have thought of ending it all because of our trials and tribulations. But don’t give in to such thoughts,. Fight it and go through it. (SEE Go Thru stages) I mean even the great prophets got really down and out sometimes. Jeremiah 20:15 Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A man child is born unto thee; making him very glad. Jer 20:17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me. Jer 20:18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame? So you are no different than any of us, and somehow you will make it through. You are needed and appreciated and loved, even though you may not think so at times. Committing suicide is not an option, It is not a solution. ‘You have a Destiny’, and a purpose, and you can make it through whatever trial you are presently having. Things will change, if you can just hang in there a little longer. Psa 30:5 In his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.. You can make it, so please don’t commit suicide, please don’t take your life. We love you, the Lord loves you and your life is important and everything will work in the long run. JESUS Loves You !!!
