Home-Cooked "Fast Food"
In 20 - 30 minutes, you can turn pre-packaged food from mix into home cooked delicious!

Pre-packaged foods are high in salt and most times have very strong flavor.

Keep your family happy by simply adding 8 oz. to a pound of pasta to the flavored pasta dishes, or 1 or 2 cups of rice to the rice dishes.

Make a main dish by adding seasoned strips of chicken, beef, or pork and rounding out the meal with a tossed salad.

You can pick up the pre-cooked meat and the ready to serve salad at the grocery store to save even more time and energy.

Watch the sales and use our coupon tips to make this mealtime option not only affordable, it's actually a bargain!

To really jazz up this "Fast Food", saute diced onion and garlic in a pan with just a little olive oil, real butter, or your favorite oil, then follow the package directions.

The scents of onion and garlic combine to make my family and friends always exclaim, "Wow! It smells great! What are you cooking?!"

You can be making the simplest of meals and they'll think it's gourmet.

Whether you're an accomplished chef or just starting out, putting together a meal that lights up the faces of those around your table is such a pleasure.

Schedules these days are hurried and mealtime gatherings can be infrequent.

By keeping a few staples on hand, you can create a home-cooked meal in the time it would take to order out.

You'll save a bundle and your place will smell warm and inviting.
