This page is to thank everyone that has helped me through my bout with lung cancer. To my aunts - Margy and Jean - who live in Prince Edward Island, thanks for all the phone calls that kept my spirits up and helped me through 6 long months of chemotherapy. To my sisters - Lisa, Catharine and Madelyn - thanks for all the drives, the gifts, the cards, just being there and giving me encouragement to have the strength to go on. Especially thanks to Madelyn for being with me when my hair started falling out from the chemo - I never would have made it without you Mad!! To all the nurses at the chemotherapy clinic - many, many thanks for making a very disagreeable experience a little more tolerable. All the words of encouragement, and just being there to lend an ear when I needed it, really helped me a lot. For all the friends who phoned to see how I was, thanks for asking and for the cards and kind words. Thanks to my mum who went through the worst of it with me - going to all the doctor's appointments, etc. - and making sure that I always had something to eat when I was too sick or weak to do it for myself. Lastly, thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, for hearing my prayers and answering them. I NEVER would have made it if I didn't know that He was by my side all the time.
