Two new Tiger MODs done by Greg "mensch" Mudry added, which are basing on JohnS "Tigers" original MODs. Look how the foliage breaks up the silouette of the tank. A very nice addition to everybodys MOD collection.

Tiger IE No. 314 (3. Kp / schwere SS Panzer Abteilung 101)

"3.Kompanie, schwere SS Panzerabteilung 101, Turmnummer 314, Unterscharfuehrer Otto Blase, Normandy 1944"

This particular Tiger IE "314" has been knocked out at 8th August 1944 near Gaumesnil, while participating in a hasty conducted counterpunch against "Operation Totalize". Another famous victim of that day was Tiger IE "007" with Michael Wittmann.

Tiger IE generalized MOD

Tiger IE MOD [generalized 1944]

I created this MOD to give a somewhat generalized representation of the 3 colour scheme which was used for the Tiger IE tanks which saw service on the Westernfront in 1944. 

These were basically the Tiger IEs of:

  • "schwere Panzer Abteilung 503 (Heer)" 

  • "schwere Panzer Abteilung 101 (SS)" and the 

  • "schwere Panzer Abteilung 102 (SS)".
