Today, as you obviously know, I am constructing this site. Being a writer, I thought it would be cool to add a diary and use it when ever I'm on line and let everyone know what I'm up too. I think I will likely have a lot of different things on this site, and I welcome feedback to hear what everyone would like to see here in the future. I am not on line a lot, but enough to change things or add every so often. Please don't be disappointed if I don't write here every day. I don't know to what audience I am catering to at the monent, but I do hope to meet a lot of people interested in the things I am. As you may know I am featured on Drake Anders site, and he let me have a page. I was so pleased at the ease of doing this I created my own site. His site features fighting of all kinds, martial artists as well. We discuss a lot of fights together, but I have a wide variety of interests, and talents that I want to expose here. Football is my number one sport, yet I find others just as interesting. I loved the first few years of the U.F.C. and I am a loyal Royce Gracie fan. My first novel is based on martial arts, so I suppose the arts lay as close to my heart and soul as my writing. Music is a big part of my life, as I have been in choir and band all my school life. I play the saxophone (ALTO) and can read music. I usually practise what I did in school, and play music I took from songs I like. When I play anything, it's not written, I just let the music flow from wherever it comes from. The music arts run into dramatic arts, I played the sax for a piece I wrote in Drama OAC. I created the role, as I have in some improv work, so I was pleased to use these talents together. Although I love drama, I know it's not something I want to do a lot of. I hated learning lines, but I loved creating roles around them. My teachers have loved me because I enspire the class with ideas that flow easily from my writing talent. The most frustrating part of music...not being able to play a guitar. In music class I could play recognizable music on the piano, and even drums...guitar, I'd flop. Art, (as in drawing) comes into my life as a tool more than hobby. Whenever I need to draw something important I will sit down and do it. This is how my characters come to life. I will put up the hand drawings in the future so you can see what my characters look like. I wrote a few children's stories and did the art myself, it may not be as beautiful as Monet, but it shows what I want it to. I've got a long weekend, tomorrow I am off work. I will use part of my time thinking about what I want to add to this site. It's pretty warm here in Toronto, unusual for this time of the year. The local news says four Canadian's were killed by a U.S. bomb by accident. I have nothing to comment on regarding all the fighting that's been going on, or the wars in this world. One qoute from my first novel 'Fear No Man' will answer why. If everyone learned to fight with their minds, rather than weapons or their fists, the world would be a very intelligent one. Well, thank you all for reading, and enjoy the site. Please feel free to comment in the guest book, I will read all of the comments and try hard to make any suggestions come to life. (As long as they are within reason!) DESIRE

Went to the bookstore, and discovered the Washington Redskins Illustrated History of Football by Richard Whittingham is virtually un-orderable. HEY MR.WHITTINGHAM? Can I get a copy anywhere? Well I'll live, I still have a copy of the last game played at the stadium where everyone was ripping up stuff to take home! I can't live to easily through this time of the year where there's no football going on. Hockey is pretty exciting, the Leafs are getting by. Still sorry that Eric's team didn't make it...it would've been cool to see them vs the Leafs for the cup! What would all those who mocked Lindros for not needing him with us say? Been busy as a beaver working on pages for this site, the football one is pretty small so far, as is the hockey one...I have yet to do my fighting one. Then there's this pic of a cherry red Dart Swinger I wanted to put up. It's quite tough to actually create what you want. I can see why Drake gave up, besides having no patience, he got frustrated when pages didn't align and so on. I suppose people out there who are wizards (I pray to the Computer Wizard Gods!) can breeze through this. I have to play with this computer for several days before I can get what I want on it correctly. For example I tried some HTML codes for effects...nada. By the time I get to the fighting page which will include martial artists of all kinds, I'll have some kind of cool effects up I HOPE! As for who will be featured, for start...Oleg Taktarov, Royce Gracie, Marco Ruas, and the big dude Bolo Yeung. I also hope to feature several others, Sasha Mitchell, Jefferey Meek, I love the way Jason David Frank kicks! Several others I could go on and mention, but I won't. Drake has a few on his site, and links to their sites. The one for Jeff Speakman is a direct one I think. I'm not going that far into details on all of them, but I will put some links in later on. I think I'll do a bit on Jeff as well, likely from what I learned from the Perfect Weapon, regarding Ed Parker's Kenpo. I discussed it on Drake's site, and will do so here, more in depth. If anyone wants to ask, add or say anyting, I will be sure to answer all, reply, and add what ever you like. Furthermore, I may even add the rebuttal page, or a page where people can just yak all they want about things. Thanks again for reading up on me! DESIRE

Still working away at this site, feels like I've been at it for about a month now, and I've only gotten so far. It's been cool gathering things to put up, I am going to put up some photos of wrestlers on a wrestling page. I've got some really good ones never seen of Ric Flair! I don't even think he's seen them! There's one I took when he was tagging, and he took the tag rope off to use on Roddy Piper. Then when the ref looked he hid it in the back of his trunks...only the tag rope was hanging out like a tail! Sid...Vicious...or Justice whichever you prefer...he yelled at one female fan so badly it scared her enough to be sick! His manager at the time Harvey Wimp (hee hee) was busy arguing with her first, and then Sid came over. Of course Roddy Piper had to get in his two cents. Being the Parkdale favorite...the media loved making him out to be the hometown hero! I've met a lot of wrestlers in my time...Owen Hart once walked right past me, it's my last favorite memory of him alive. I've seen a few others that I may decide to mention later, but it would be a long list! I'll put up the pictures of Sweet Daddy Siki and Wonderboy Ron Hutchinson's wrestlers. My favorite memory of ring owner Big Mac...chasing a wrestler with a chair and the crowd popping. Favorite memory of Dave...dressing up as Santa and sitting on MY lap! I've got a whole pile of good stories to put on that page so I'll save them for there. Favorite baseball story...meeting Ernie Whitt...back catcher for the Jays. It rounded out my encounters with the big sports. I met the entire squad of the Edmonton Eskimos when I worked at the stadium...quite by accident too...almost got trampled and most grateful to the linebacker who shouted to the others 'Watch out for the little usherette'. Same time that year, I saw Michael Damion, one of the girls chased after him! Now...that's getting out of sports! My best story about an actor...sorry Lou. My friend was waiting to talk to old school chum Kiefer Sutherland when Lou Diamond Phillips came up and signed her date book thinking she was a fan! They were filming Renegades then. Another friend of mine, doesn't really get along too well with Lou. This could go on, and on...so I'll stop there. Regarding this site...be patient as I get photos and webpages together. It'll come togther in a few weeks...still have to figure out some things, but I may have enlisted a WIZARD! Before I sign out, just want to say to all the hockey watchers (JIM? DOUG?) the Leafs may look bad after last nights loss, but hold on and watch. Since I didn't predict them to win...they likely will. (Oh yeah...Jim, and Doug...who are you picking on at the rink since I'm not there?) hee hee. DESIRE

I'm quite surprised at how fast the wrestling page got underway. I've still got a lot of photos and have to add some captions and or thoughts regarding the photos. On Monday, I reprinted the photos I mentioned of Ric Flair, I just have to scan them, and then I'll be ready to put them up. Also on Monday, I saw Paul, my chiropractor, whom I forgot to ask if he wanted me to advertise his clinic on the site. He had a tough job trying to adjust my talus (in the ankle) it took a lot of tugging to get it back into place, but well worth it! Some people have asked if it's painful, and I think the worst is when it's first injured. For example when my lunate (wrist bone) was dislocated the first time, it hurt like mad. It was my left hand and it made a lot of difficulty for me because I use my left hand for so much, that I had to depend on my right hand. Some things I discovered I could not do with my right hand at all! It was out of place for about two years (until I went to Paul who fixed it for me) and it weakened my wrist. Which now makes it difficult for me to accomplish the things I can only do with the left hand. Which reminds me of something you may have noticed in my site. The table of contents with links to other pages appears on the RIGHT on my home page, and on the LEFT of the other pages. This is because I usually attempt to do new things ambidextrously, and it is my trademark. It will confuse some people, but I've had an easy time navigating it. Tonight the Leafs face the Senators...after Monday's interesting game, it will be exciting to see the outcome of this one. Leafs, Cujo says he's prepared to play and said all he wanted about Watson's calls (and no call) on Monday's game. Poor Darcy though, he doesn't want to be called 'Sideshow Bob' and he looked just like it in the newspaper waving the white towel on the end of his hockey stick. I can see the point he was trying to make, but the spotlight hit him and there he is on the front of the sports page in the paper. I wrote how I felt about the situation on my hockey page, and I sure hope the Leafs concentrate on winning, instead of refs. They really need to put everything out of their mind except the game. Not on missing Mats on the ice, or what the ref will call, or even fighting with players. (I'd personally save the fight for after the game...remember the old expression 'I'll get you after school?' It applies here.) I still don't predict them to win the cup, but keep watching because I've been wrong before. The next new thing I'll be working on for this site is a page with my character drawings on it. I won't be putting it on the contents though, it will only be accessed through a link on the home page where I have discussed my first two books. This is because I don't think it will be a popular page to visit, and only those interested in my writing may link to the page. I guess I should also apologize in advance for any misspelling...this I have now realized comes from being ambidextrous. While typing on the keyboard, both hands have individual ways of moving. I wind up hitting keys with both hands while's typing words and it comes out wrong sometimes. I hope you've been enjoying my site, as much as I have creating it. DESIRE

I've been busy trying to decide what I want to put for this season on the football page. I've been collecting information, and following what's been going on with hockey as well. Last month I saw the Canadian Loonie in Drayton, Director Alex Mustakas did a wonderful job. R.C.M.P Constable played by Neil Atchison was hilarious. (That's a Canadian Mountie for anyone not familiar with the R.C.M.P ). The step dancers 'Ballagh Bunch' were wonderful, all that tapping reminded me of my days. Howie MacDonald played the fiddle and did a wonderful job alongside Neil. I managed to catch the Cape Breton fiddler, Howie MacDonald after the show. I chatted with him about music, and picked up one of his CD's, if you like fiddling, check it out. Howie has been on A.T.V's 'Up Home Tonight', and featured on C.B.C. Radio's Island Echoes, just to name a few. You can visit his website at www.howiemacdonald.com. In all he's a talented Canadian, who is very friendly. I truly enjoyed the show, I wish I could play as well as him! The big news in Toronto is the heat 97 yesterday! Also Cujo's signing to Detroit has been in the news. For all those not living here, there's been a vast, and fast amount of trash piling up in the city due to the strike of the garbage collectors. Our city mayor Mel Lastman says the strike could go on until October! I'm lucky because where I am the garbage is collected by contractors. Elsewhere there's been a lot of trash talk! Well, anyway I still have my photos to dig out of David Smith, I think I have one of Owen Hart. Whenever I think about him, I remember the time I saw him heading out after a match...onto the street...still in Hart gear! Eager to go somewhere, full of life, and a wonderful way to remember him. As for David, never had the chance to meet him, but between what I've heard from many that knew him I remember him more from when he was with Tom. There are many who will be added to the dedication page, JYD, Adrian, Brian...the list will be endless, and as I gather up the information it will be a large page. Who to put at the top, I think will end up being by alphabetical order instead of trying to order the deceased by means of popularity. It is difficult to manage the site, plus a life so I hope everyone will bare with me. I would also like to add here, that mostly everything I put regarding each person will be a quote direct from the person. For example Mats regarding sitting on the sideline. I will not put in anything I believe to be false, or in any insulting manner to whomever I cover on this site. I feel the media sometimes are very cruel to those who are in sports or are well known. I may refer to comments in the news media that are written, as I feel they should have the negitive exposure for printing falsehoods regarding well known people. I disliked what they've written and covered before, and will express those feelings in the site as they occur. Also I may refer to people who write into the newspaper as their comments can sometimes be uplifting regarding the news. My mother says I'm like 'Joe Blunt' I call it as I see it. While some people may have something negitive to say about people I've met, my comments will be honest. Therefore, if I say Kurt Browning was polite...take my word for it. That said and done, I'd like to thank everyone who's viewed my site, and those who've written me with comments and suggestions. I would also like to say hi to anyone whom I've been in contact with that is on my site, and thank them for viewing it as well. As each day unfolds with sports news before us, I believe in telling it as I see it. I only dropped in to let everyone know what I was up to, and do a little updating. See you all again as soon as I can. DESIRE

At long last I return, only to find everything piled up on me! Let's start with the photo of musician Billy Bridger and I. I met him Sat, July 6th, 2002. A humid rainy day...(explains my hat) on the 1000 island cruise. A wonderful entertainer, not just music, but magic and humor as well! I enjoy his C.D.'s and he's available for booking. If you're interested (U.S. or Canada) he's available. Contact him at billybridger@hotmail.com. Following that, on Sat, Sept 28th, 2002, I met another musician named Bob Burchill at Mc Cully's farm. Another funny man, with a beautiful voice, and the ability to play more than just a guitar! I got to play his banjo...he showed me a chord! We sung Old McCully had a farm...my voice was better than my playing! We had our photo taken, (still waiting to be developed) so hopefully I'll be able to post it here later. Bob has a site at www.bobburchill.com. Okay...and just recently on Wed, Oct 23rd, 2002 I saw Christopher Plummer as King Lear. It was a wonderful performance, and I was estatic to finally see Christopher on stage. So now you know why I haven't really been here updating my site. I've been out enjoying musicans and actors! I did quite a bit of writing this past summer on a new story, it's about an x-quarter back who owns a ranch. The football and hockey season has been keeping me pretty busy. So my writing has been taking the back seat every once and a while. The games have been extremely entertaining, and wonderful to watch. With luck, I'll be able to come back and update these pages. Finally, the wrestling page has some additions...the dedications I've been scarambling to put together. I will try and get some more up in the near future. Hoping you all enjoy so far. DESIRE

So a few days to a year has passed since I started this site and 5000+ hits later I'm back updating a bit. I am a devoted football fan, and enjoyed the season so much I had no time to update the wonderful victory for Tampa Bay, and coach Gruden! I spent most of the winter trudging through snow! Still a lot on the ground here right now, which has been very unseasonal! I finally got the picture of Bob and I (see photo right) developed, and found a new one to add to my wrestling page. DID YOU FIND IT? I have finally decided I will try and add more special pages for wrestlers, hockey & football players, and martial artists if I can ever find the time. I think it would be a good addition to the site as I'm sure a lot of people viewing would probably like to see a bit more on one particular person featured here. To date, I have noticed that only one person has put a hit on a secret hidden page on the site. There is one link to it, and it is very amusing, I am going to put a guest book on that particular page (that one person please go back and sign it!), and the detectives searching for and finding the page can sign to their amazing find! I'm surprised a year has passed that only one person has noticed it! The war and outbreak of SARS has been the most hottest topics of the city in the news. The conversation is about the snow! It's finally getting nice enough to trek through the ravine! Although I do think a blizzard may hit us by mid June! (Just kidding) As always I never know when I'll be updating this site so it's up to viewers to check in. I'll do my best to update more often! DESIRE

This time my delay can't be blamed on me, call it tabu I guess. I was working on the Memorial page for wrestlers when the site went haywire. So finally I'm back and updating and in a back log of mess. Unfortunately I didn't take time to scan up my most recent picture of myself with Coronation Street Soap Actress Ms. Sue Cleaver (Eileen Grimshaw) whom I met a short while ago. Again...please be patient and I will get it done. Meanwhile, hockey season is over for the Leafs, a recent loss here in Toronto has quieted the city like the day after. Superbowl has long since been over and I still have game summaries to type up, but I did manage to start a page for that, and in that mess comes more work setting up the page for easier readability. Then there's the time factor...a lifetime! Meanwhile throughout it all I've been still writing away, like a maniac! As soon as I finish writing down one idea for a book, I'm back at another. I just recently came off a good flow based on a show that once aired. As soon as I get an idea of legal riff raff I'll be sure to update the home page with all my writing updates including the one just mentioned. Back to the wrestling page which has expanded ten fold with different ideas as I go along, it is like a debate on who to put up in the memorial and create the pages for. On the light note I created a fun page, and a Zinger page. I hope people will either sign my tag book with their favorite wrestling moments, or e-mail me with their own. My e-mail addy is current, but unfortunately due to spam, it's hard to filter through. Please write in the subject bar Wrestling Zinger or Story, or a wrestler's name for my attention and I'll be sure to look at it. Also include if you want to be mentioned, named etc. I will take what I can word for word and place it up on the site. I may even put it on my dedication pages for the deceased wrestlers. As I first mentioned I was working on all this when the site went down. It almost makes you want to forget the whole idea, espeically since I was considering working on several wrestling dedication pages that are hard to work on to begin with. With the events surrounding wrestlers such as the Von Eriich's it's quite hard to decide how or what you want to do to begin with. So with that said, I'll brave it out, and thank all the people visiting my site once again, and toughing through the down time of it. Since April 2002 I started this site, and it was weird not being able to work on it for so long. A worry too, with all the work and time put into it I was afraid to lose it all, but never willing to give it all up. Now I'm glad to be back in the chair, and working to expand so all the net surfers out there come across a site that can give a wide variety on several major subjects, and brake down into smaller pages to keep you informed and entertained. Thanks for sticking with the site, and now that it's running again, I'll be trying to scan pic's and get material ready for each page I've been working on from the start. To rip off the Toronto Sun's paper in my own fashion...this is the little site that grew. DESIRE
