ABOUT 'FEAR NO MAN'
Breaking the Bang (Macy Series2)
What I've written, like to write, is going here everyone. First, I'll start with what I like to write. Mostly it's short and long stories. Some poetry, and songs. My first love is long novels, and I have the first one finished. It is called Fear No Man, and is mostly all about fighting, martial arts, and martial arts instruction. The lead characters in this story are Eric Beaubien, Marcel Beaubien, Sarah Trenary, and David Trenary. These are what people would call the 'heros' The villians are Jason Trenary, Jojo, Karbo, and people from Rhodes Enterprise. All of these people know martial arts, with the exception of Sarah, who refused to learn the phsical skills because she disliked the combat. Her skills are mostly in meditation, and she learned this from her mother.
You will have noticed that Jason Trenary is on the 'villian' side, against Sarah, and David. Jason is the father of Sarah and David, it is his poor teaching skills in martial arts that draw Sarah and David away from him, and towards Eric Beaubien. Eric, owns and operates a dojo, and teaches martial arts 'differently' than Jason. Marcel is Eric's younger brother, who also learns in the dojo, and is good friends with David.
How they all come together, is by Jason Trenary's ways of teaching. Since the death of his wife, he insisted that Sarah and David learn martial arts properly so they would not land in the same fate of their mothers. Sarah's refusal to learn at all is a major conflict, stretching David's limits beyond capacity is also a conflict. This is where the story takes action, as they decide to leave their father. Of course, Jason does not want his only children to leave him, so he must persue them. Before he can stop them from leaving, Eric is there to help. Wise sensei Eric beats Jason in their first confrontation easily, and takes Sarah and David to his home.
Following, is an extensive search for Jason's kids. We are introduced to more of his friends and colleagues who are shown as just as ruthless as Jason. They get help from Rhodes, who organizes the search from his office. The first of the TriStar is Jason, we are introduced to Jojo as the second, and Karbo as the third. In the middle is Rhodes, who operates the star as he sees fit. Jojo is the comic of the three, and wisecracks his way throughout the story. Karbo, is the iceberg, who actually cared for Mrs. Trenary, and became colder following her death. We do not learn much about her, but Mrs. Trenary died in a self defense fight by the hands of Jason's first marital art instructor Kosta Hai. The argument between them was regarding Jason Trenary and his manner of teaching. Kosta Hai disliked this, and Jason's way of life with Rhodes, and the TriStar. Mrs. Trenary took Kosta Hai's argument of Jason as a sign of jealousy, because it was known that Kosta liked her. This was what prompted the argument in which Mrs. Trenary died.
Karbo, does the persuing in the state Sarah and David are in, he is well known for his knowledge of the world. Without so much as a glance from a map, he could pinpoint any town. Jason, and Jojo follow leads in other cities. When they return Karbo is waiting to take them back to Rhodes. While they wait to follow Eric from his dojo, a reunite takes place. This is all in test of each others skills, where we learn just how much each man is capable of fighting.
Via a friend of Karbo's who works for the police, an attempted abduction takes place. The cop, Jeremy Hempleton, is a key to the entire story as he is the one who destroys any evidence of TriStar in the end. After the failed abduction, they continue to follow Eric to a friend's restaurant where the action takes place. Eric has gathered his friends there to brainstorm together and come up with some kind of solution. It is there that Jason steps forward to take back his kids...and it is there the climax comes as Eric wins the massive fight. Kosta Hai, makes a brief appearance to help Sarah and David, and leaves promising to watch over them.
Following the grand finale fight, we learn that the TriStar has disbanded, and laying low. We learn that Sarah and David are staying with Eric and Marcel, and in the very end that Jeremy is about to conduct some business with Karbo.
The story is left in suspension as it is based on several true events, and an outcome is awaiting. The characters I created for this story were hard to put together without people recognizing them. The end result was something I truly believe was the best that could be made. I enjoyed writing the story from start to finish, and I enjoyed all the characters. I think I could not pick a favorite, although Karbo's mini clone was quite fun. Jojo's sadistic and odd jokes were a challenge!
Stood (pronounced Stewed) with his grin that pissed everyone off was a constant addition to the story. It's only in the end when he is hiding away with Rhodes, that he is NOT grinning.
In final, regarding the story Fear No Man, I have two comments to make. One...the actual working title was originally Learn Karate My Way, Or No Way At All. This was changed under the suggestion someone made that it sounded too instructional (Which it really almost is because a lot of teaching is in the book) The second, was that I wasn't sure how the fight scenes would come out, but I feel I've done a wonderful job...without any help.
The story has not yet been published, although it is copyrighted. I am interested in all kinds of ideas regarding this novel, including a film, and merchandise of all kind to sell.
HOPE YOU ENJOY!

ABOUT 'FLIGHT OF TERROR'
My second novel is called 'Flight Of Terror' this story is not based on as many true events as the first. It actually has only a few key events, the rest I tied into a story. Unlike the first novel where characters were French, these characters are Spanish. I was intrigued by one Spanish leading character in a film, and wanted to use him in this story. Before it can be published, I await a reply regarding his character rights so I don't get into trouble. He is the lead character in the story, Carlos Santiego. Leader of Spanish men, who commit many acts of violence, and terrorism. However, the acts committed in the story all revolve around Carlos's brother Ramone.
In the beginning, we meet lead female character Huila 'Julia' Sanchez, who is stalked by a man named
Johnny Burns. She is staying with her sister Rosa, when they decide she would be safer returning home to Columbia where her abuelo and tio can take care of the trouble Burns gives her. For many days and nights he has stalked and harassed her, and although Huila fears flying so badly, she realizes she must return home. Carlos, is in the same city visiting his brother Ramone, who is much like Huila 'much loved by family and friends' nothing like the menacing Carlos. Ramone is on his way to the liquor store when he is gunned down by Sangrantosa...a bloodthirsty druglord in the city. The shooting is a mistaken identity, and Ramone knows this. With Carlos at his side he utters this to him, pain, and fear of death in his eyes. He dies in Carlos's arms, and it enrages him to avenge the death. He learns that Sangrantosa meant to kill a Mexican trying to steal his business, this Mexican CARLOS actually resembled, more than Ramone did. The Mexican has a friend named Johnny Burns. Burns is with the Mexican when Sangrantosa makes another kill. He escapes, and uses whatever drug money he can find, to get onto the same flight as Huila Sanchez. In turn...Carlos and the men follow Sangrantosa who is following Burns, and they all wind up on the same flight.
Sangrantosa, makes a move on Huila, which Carlos questions. At their first glance, Huila falls into Carlos's hypnotic stare, and he can see the fear in her eyes. The fear of flying, and knowing Burns is on the flight. Deciding to take action, he takes over the flight, which still heads to Columbia, only to refuel, and then continue to Spain where Carlos's father awaits them. During the flight, Huila is asked to move away from the front area of the aircraft because she understands Spanish, and the men wish to converse freely. She is moved near Burns, who starts to harass her automatically. It enrages her, and an outburst is made bringing Carlos back to inspect. He moves her back to the front of the aircraft and listens to her ranting about all that Burns has done. With questions he cleverly asks he learns the truth about her, Burns, and Sangrantosa. He decides to reseat her in her original seat, and then cleverly questions Burns, and Sangrantosa. Then, Huila's fears of flying come back again, and she is nervous. Carlos likes that she is co-operative, and wants to keep her quiet as an ideal hostage. He explains things to her to calm her. He asks more questions regarding her family in order to distract her. Here he learns of her infamous tio Emilo Sanchez, and abuelo Emilio. He now realizes he must be careful in what to do with her. By the time the flight is about to land and refuel in Columbia, they have spoken freely about Ramone's death, and Huila's family...she ultimately decides to remain on the flight if she is allowed to leave a note to her parents. She wants to be know the outcome of Burns.
The refuel and release of hostages goes smoothly, and once the flight resumes, Carlos remains entranced by Huila. His fathers men have sent word that he knows an Emilio Sanchez, but this factor now means nothing to him as he doesn't see Huila as a hostage anymore.
The pilots take action, causing a struggle in the cockpit sending Huila into the worst terror. Carlos can see this fear in her eyes as fierce as they were in Ramone's eyes, and it strikes him hard. He remains under control, and through the planes wild flying, he gets into the cockpit. Huila does not realize until this point that Carlos can fly the aircraft, and he wrestles the plane under control. Once the plane is under their control, Carlos leaves one of the men flying the aircraft while he attempts to bring Huila back under control. In the lavatory he calms her, and their emotions take over. There, become intimate, and make love.
Carlos shows Huila how to fly the plane, and when they are within reach of his fathers home base, they speak via the radio. By this point, Huila's abuelo has contacted Carlos's father via the telephone. Here, they exchange words with each other on the happenings on the plane, and discuss landing.
The landing goes smoothly, but they must use a round about way to get to the Santiego's home because there are dangerous men looking for the Santiegos and Spanish mafia. Along the way, there is a confrontation, and the vehicles spin out of control. Huila's leg is trapped between the door, and front seat, and the car is about to explode. While Carlos tries to free Huila, Burns makes an escape, but the watch on Sangrantosa tightens. With sheer determination, and strength, Carlos frees Huila the last few seconds before the car explodes. He claims he will not let Huila die like Ramone.
Slightly injured where her leg was pinned, Huila remains at the Santiego's home, where they await her family who decide to come see about Burns. At this point we learn more about Ramone, and the events lead to his funeral. At the same time, Carlos has decided to propose to Huila, knowing that he can not live without her.
After the funeral, the final end to Sangrantosa comes. It is here, we learn just how cruel tio Emilio can be, as he points out sadistic ways of torture before death. Following the avenged death of Sangrantosa is the trip to the cantina where Carlos has a ring for Huila.
Back in Columbia, they wed, and in the very end, we have no knowledge of Burns besides he is lurking. Rosa, has her first born child, a boy who she names Ramone.
There are many subcharacters in this story that I enjoyed creating and using throughout. Ramone's American friend Alan, who befriends Carlos as he did Ramone. Others, who are with Carlos that had to watch Sangrantosa that hated him, and so on. This story was inspired from many different things, and events. Like Huila, I too hate being stuck in an aircraft for long hours. I too was followed around, and to have these two things on a flight...would make it truly a 'Flight of Terror'.

ABOUT 'TAKING OFF THE TOP'
My third novel is called 'Taking off the top' and the reason it is called this is a double meaning. First, because the lead female character Deeanna Raymond is a hairstylist working at a salon called 'Taking off the top'. The second reason is because lead male character Valentine Hallace discovers that people working for him have been taking money off the top.
Allow me to explain...the novel starts where we meet Valentine and learn about him, and his business. He started out small as a drug dealer, and ended up the biggest drug dealer in the city. Using money from his drug business, he opens a restaurant called Jodale's. Jodale's becomes a sucess on it's own, and he uses the profits to build his franchise. Still, he deals drugs...even though it is not what he wants to do. He does so, because the second big time dealer Paulie is a lowly drug dealer who laces his drugs, and weakens narcotics to sell. Valentine would rather Paulie be run out of business before he quits, and concentrate on his restaurant empire.
We learn about his 'boys' dealers in the beginning, and his best friend
Nickie, who did most of the drug business while Valentine oversaw the operation. From the start, Valentine is shown as an expert chef, showing a cook at his restaurant how to make a sauce he invented.
From there, Valentine meets with Nickie to find out what the dealers are doing. They are trying to find Ice, who Valentine knows has been selling for Paulie, as well as him. The problem is that he doesn't know if Ice's sidekick 'Box'
Bobby Raymond is in on the act as well. He does know that Ice had weakend the narcotics Valentine had given him to sell, and sold the drugs for a higher price...taking off the top.
Nickie and Valentine head to Bobby Raymond's to find out what he knew about Ice. It is here we learn that Nickie's girlfriend, Dawn works in the salon Deeanna Raymond is in, and are best friends. ALthough they have never met, Valentine is unaware of Deeanna's beauty, and skeptical because Bobby Raymond is ugly to him, and he can not picture his sister Deeanna being pretty. Nickie, who has met Deanna when picking up Dawn at the salon tries to assure him that Deeanna is not ugly like Bobby. Throughout the story Valentine makes numerous remarks about how ugly Bobby is...as well as Paulie.
At the Raymond's apartment, Bobby is worried that his parents will kick him out if they know Valentine and Nickie are there. They are aware of Bobby selling drugs, but do not tolerate his friends being around since an incident with Ice. Upon entering the apartment for his first time, Valentine looks around, and spots Deeanna's graduation photo on a table and becomes infactuated. He can not believe that this is Bobby's sister. While Bobby is getting money for Paulie, Valentine looks at more photos. When Bobby returns he asks incredulosly if THIS is is legitimate sister. Bobby becomes irritated, and warns him that his parents wouldn't like him being around Deeanna, and Deeanna didn't like drugs either.
Valentine, doesn't let on that he has a plan, and leaves with Nickie questioning the personality of Deeanna. Nickie mentiones what Dawn has told him, and has heard that Deeanna detests Paulie. It is the first Valentine is aware that Deeanna knows Paulie, and questions how she did...perhaps through Bobby? He plans to get Nickie, to take care of Bobby's car so that Bobby would not be able to pick up Deeanna later on in the week. At the same time, he finds out when she's working, discovers that she takes the train home, and decides to be outside the salon when she finishes work the next day. Nickie is curious to know how Valentine is going to become friends with Deeanna since she disliked all of Bobby's friends and anyone dealing with drugs, excluding himself only because he is Dawn's boyfriend, and she knows him.
Through a lot of snooping, they discover where Ice is hiding, and learn from Ice himself exactly what the incident at the Raymond apartment was. Being hopped up on drugs, Ice became upset that Bobby appeared to be trying to hanging himself putting on a tie. When a struggle ensued, Deeanna came out to help suffering a fractured arm in the process. From then on, their parents put their foot down to Bobby having friends over.
It takes a lot of prodding on Valentine's part to learn this, but he has already decided what he wanted to do with Ice, once Ice finished his story. He puts two bullets through his head, and leaves the 'boys' to dump the body. Suddenly Valentine is interested in the welfare of Deeanna Raymond. He knows the owner of the salon, Darren whom he has had words with before. A nasty boss that Nickie, and Bobby have also had words with as well.
The next day when Deeanna is finished working, she exits the salon and does not recognize Valentine, because she has never seen him. When she passes him, he stops her, using charm, and his well known humor he attracts her attention. When Darren exits the salon, he has words with him, and leaves him flustered. Deeanna is amused by his jokes, and becomes at ease. She decides he is safe to take a ride home with. Valentine has other plans first though, he gains her trust through the conversation, asking questions about Bobby. Learns she has met Paulie, and is concerned to know that Paulie has been invited into the Raymond home. Deeanna, does not know the reason for this, only that Bobby brought him in, and they talked to their father, before introducing Deeanna.
Valentine's plan is to bring Deeanna to his apartment for a taste test of a new casserole he has created, choosing her for two reasons. One, because he learns she has an excellent palate, and two because he wants to name the casserole after her 'Dee-light Casserole' Although miffed at his ulterior motive, she agrees, and at his apartment, falls in love with his dog 'Drool'.
After a thumbs up for the casserole, Valentine takes Drool with them to drop her home. Letting her in on the secret that he will quit the drug business once Paulie is run out of town. He tells her he will pick her up from work with Bobby the next day, and they agree to meet for lunch at...Jodale's.
Once inside her apartment, Paulie is waiting for Bobby to find out what happened with Ice. Her mother is unsure of why he's there, but because Bobby and their father had negotiated she was only instructed to allow him in. With Paulie's demonic, twisted ways, he frightens Deeanna, and makes her replulsed. She learns that he is infactuated with her, which disgusts her. When Bobby comes home, we learn the reason Paulie has gained access to their lives. He was the supplier of money to cover the medical cost of Deeanna's injured arm. The cost, Bobby was told to pay, but had no means of until he asked Paulie. He did not ask Valentine for the loan because he figured he would not get it since he used drugs himself and wasn't trusted.
The visit prompts Deeanna to call Dawn, asking her to come over. Dawn tries to locate Nickie, and can't so she calls Valentine. He immediately goes to get Dawn, and take her to the Raymond's. He instructs her to find out what happened, and come back down to tell him. Using the excuse that Nickie is waiting to see if she is staying. Dawn does as she's told, and reports back to Valentine, and Nickie who has arrived. Not pleased, Valentine plans to find Bobby, and give him the rest of what he owes to give to Paulie to get him off their backs. Dawn, decides to stay over for the night.
They find Bobby, tell him they learned from the street that he was in debt and working to pay it off. He admits to what he's done, and questions Valentine's motives. Paulie is payed, but not alarmed, he still has plans on how to keep near Deeanna. Valentine decides to give Deeanna a life line...a special line added to his cell phone for her to call if she is in trouble.
Her mood is gloomy until lunch where he gives her the number, and meets his mom at Jodales. His flustering of Darren tops the day when they return. As planned, he gives them a ride home, and they decide to come clean with their parents about Paulie. It stirs up more concern, but they accept it, insisting on seeing Valentine. When Paulie makes an unexpected visit the next day, Valentine arrives to get in the way and stays to ensure Paulie is gone, and meets their parents. They are impressed, and amused at his humor. Then he discovers that Paulie owns the property the salon is on, and is sending out legal notices banning him from entering the salon. Valentine plans, trying to find something about the salon that can shut Paulie down. He finds things not up to code, and costly repairs. When Paulie is forced to give up the property, Valentine buys it in his mothers' name.
When Deeanna becomes ill with a flu, through a mix up on Bobby's part she takes the wrong tablets and becomes doped up by accident. Having enough, Valentine takes her to his apartment to keep her away from all the trouble, and help her recover.
When Paulie is completely run out of business, and the city, Valentine stops dealing drugs, and gives the boys jobs at his restaurant. The hair salon comes up to code, and Deeanna and Dawn become the managers.
There are also many subcharacters in this story, the 'Crane' twins who work for Valentine...and Paulie's twisted dealers. One...named 'March' because no matter what day of the year it is, he believes it is March. The humor in the story between Nickie, and Valentine is funny to me, and I enjoyed writing it. I also enjoyed creating Paulie the twisted creep, and his even more twisted dealers. There are many good guys gone bad, trying to be good in the movies, but Valentine Hallace has his own mystery. As he says about his street name 'Valhalla' 'What you hear about Valhalla is only myths'. Nickie...regarding being called 'St. Nick' 'Why would I want to be named after some fat old dude with a long beard?' Perhaps Deeanna sums up her theory on the entire story, 'if nobody sold the drugs, then there wouldn't be people out there using them'.
