Gabriel "Gabe" Brendan dreams of the masked man. Kirsten Bergham worries about her lover. Dr. Ruth Isthet, Gabe's shrink, on the other hand acts as their stable ground in confronting the truth if the Enigma exists.

The Slip of the Tongue

Kirsten meets the Enigma in circustances very different from those expected. Gabe learns about the Enigmatics of the 20th century and realises that his dreams relate to a "comic super hero."
