I just wanted to take a minute to tell people about acheological socieites. Every state has a archeological soociety. There are several chapters spread out through every state. If you have not visited the homepage for the archeological society from your state you should take a minute and see what is happening around you. Every month archeological societies have a meeting. If you have not been to one you should. There is a lot of information passed at these meetings. Anyone can attend and anyone can join these socities.
There are many activities that these societies do throughout the month. These activities includes; excavations, surveys, and cleaning artifacts. It is a very worth while society to join. I urge all of you to attend a meeting and see if it is something you would enjoy. For a list archeological societies see my links page.
