| One of the key issues in maintaining a great collection is knowing what you have. In order to help you I have added a section on projectile identification and what materials are common in each area. I am currently providing links that have some of this information on. Also under the individual state links I have some pages that may help you identify where to start in your identification process. I am in the process of putting together all of this information and breaking it down by state. If you have any pictures of different types of projectile points, and would like them used in this section, please e-mail them to me. Currently I need pictures of almost every type of points. Online Projectile points Identification Guide Materials by Region - This is a very useful link that lets you see what most of the projectile points in your area will be made out of. The problems with being listed by region is that not all materials listed may be found in your state. |
