Working till 6 am on friday all night shift at Maccas only gets them more pumped up for the day of jamming ahead. With their steady flow of parties evey weekend the boys from chatty arent strangers to the art of GETTING SEVERLY FUCKED UP.

Simply put, Broken Universe are awesome. Their sound is a combination of old school Incubus and Chili Peppers style funk, mixed with their own acoustic rock sound, and more recently they've been expanding their already versatile repetoire to some darker heavier (even Displaced like) sounds.
They're a well established band around the Northern Beaches area. Frequently entering all the band competitions they can get their hands on, not to mention supporting Unwritten Law at their manly show. And more recently winning their heat in The Hard Rock Cafe band comp, and coming fourth in the very prestigious Fitz comp. Without a doubt, these boys from the beach are well on their way. Displaced played a Battle of the Bands contest with Broken Universe a long long time ago, (with our old singer) And the bands remain good friends to this day. Perhaps one day, their musical paths will cross again.
Here are some punk rockin dudes who have also made quite a name for themselves around the Northern Beaches area. Playing many of Manly Youth's Clearway nights, as well as supporting Millencollin and Sunk Loto.
Any one who has seen these guys live will tell you, they rock. They go hard and fast. And put on one hell of a show.
When James Parrino from Displaced isn't rockin' hard on the drums for Displaced, he's off singing and playing gutiar with his side project the Senior Punk Ensemble. This band has possibly been around in one form or another for longer than Displaced has. The line up is James Parrino - Vocals/Guitar, Michael Dawson Bass/Backing Vocals, Nic Puertolas (from D*ranged) - Drums. They've played along side Displaced in Battle of the Bands, Music Camp and at the recent Mowbray Gig. Usually they stick to playing covers of bands such as Blink 182, Silverchair & 28 Days, but more recently they've written some orginal material. These guys love to have fun and rock hard, you can look forward to seeing plenty more of them in the future.
