Stardate: 60300.0250
Setting: NEW ALEXANDRIA, Section A, Level 6, Admiral Koneki's Office

The Admiral stood between 2 of the 3 massive statues located behind his desk, his gaze lost on the forms of the three active Scarab-Class ships currently docked at the base. It was rare to see 2 of the Intel ships home at the same time and even rarer to have them and their crews all present at once. Even in the dead of the night, the base felt alive to Admiral Koneki, like a house once again filled with the feel of the children that had left to venture on their own.

=/\= Admiral… Cmdr. Wallin is here to see you. =/\= Allyson announced over the intercom, the joyful receptionist not at all sounding bothered or fatigued despite the ungodly hour.

"Send him in." The Admiral replied, glancing at the clock on his desk to confirm that the base's CMO had indeed met the 6 hour deadline that had been imposed on him… minus a few minutes.

"Admiral… here are my findings on what I believe to be the reason for the unexpected behaviour of Ens. Summers. As you will see, the reprogramming procedure was not at fault." The Cairn physician quickly pointed out, defending the work that he had done to the very end. The last thing Wallin wanted had been to be on the receiving end of Koneki's wrath should the procedure have been the cause of the aCMO's earlier outburst in his office.

The Admiral slowly turned away from the large window that gave onto the docking area and glanced at the Cairn physician before lowering his gaze onto his desk and the PADD that had been placed there. As if he had not been in any sort of a hurry, the NEW ALEXANDRIA's CO reached for the data storage device and brought it to his eyes as he eased himself into his chair… the next few moments were filled with an eerie silence as the Admiral read and the CMO waited.

"Are you certain of this?" Koneki calmly inquired as he continued to carefully peruse the content of the PADD that the CMO had left on his desk.

"The images that I found in Ens. Summer's mind have left me with little doubts about the cause of her outburst. I will admit that this is by no means a perfect science, but I am at a loss to find another reason to account for what happened and what I discovered." The base's CMO explained as best he could, still acting as if he expected the Admiral to unleash his displeasure at him.

"Well done Doctor… I will take care of the rest." Admiral Koneki announced in a calm voice that hinted to an approaching storm. Wallin could only guess that the CO had an idea of the specifics that had lacked from the report the Cairn had handed in, but the CMO had been just happy that his presence and assistance had no longer been required.

As soon as the CMO had left his office, Charles stood from behind his desk and made his way to the large screen located in the conference area of his office. With a press of a switch the screen activated and shadow filled room came into view… the 6 figures hidden therein barely visible… but that had always been their way.

=[/\]= We had warned you that there was a 77% chance that he would resume his experimentation using members of the staff. =[/\]= A distinctively female voice announced from the shadows well before the Admiral had even made any move to speak.

=[/\]= Ens. Summer's history of insubordination gave her an 89% chance of being selected for these experiments should they be resurrected. =[/\]= Another, almost similar voice announced making it clear that the 2 women had been closely related to one another. Of course this had not surprised the Admiral who knew all too well that the 6 forms hidden in the shadows were sisters.

=[/\]= Unless something is done soon, there is a 62% chance that another experiment will be initiated within the next 12 hours. =[/\]= A 3rd voice offered.

=[/\]= That percentage jumps to 84% if the time frame is expended to include the next 36 to 48 hours… the success of the primary test only reinforcing the desire to push the boundaries of his research. =[/\]= A 4th voice, very similar to all the others, announced not at all showing any emotions in what they were reporting. To the secluded sisters, profiling the endless possibilities and probabilities using all of the information at their disposal had been their only reason for being… an existence that few would envy but one that all six seemed to be pleased with.

"Does he know that we are suspecting him?" The Admiral inquired, the calmness in his voice having given signs of weakening.

=[/\]= There is only a 12% chance that he is aware of our suspicions. =[/\]= The 5th of the sisters replied, her voice matching almost perfectly that of her siblings.

=[/\]= Since there is only a 2% chance that he knows about the reprogramming that Ens. Summers underwent, and that there is an 84% chance that he would have somehow become aware of her outburst… the odds of him actually disregarding the possibility of your knowing are almost 100%. He is unlikely to halt his research if not directly confronted with proof of his involvement. =[/\]= The 6th and last of the sisters announced leaving the NEW ALEXANDRIA'sCO with a difficult decision… to either stop these experiments involving members of his own staff or allowing them to continue for the time being to see the potential benefits of the research.

It didn't take all that long for the NEW ALEXANDRIA's CO to reach a decision…

"Allyson… please have Cmdr. Du'Kim report to my office first thing in the morning… there are several things that I need to speak to him about."
