Stardate: 60320.2135
Setting: TANGIERS ORBITAL, 2nd Floor, Bar

The young woman with the emerald skin smiled at the increasing number of men who one after the other tried their best to gain her attention… and hopefully her favours. After having danced with Pellum and Akwar for over an hour, Rikar had thought it best to retreat to a quieter environment where she might be able to learn more about the Miradorn and Napean… and hopefully discover their association with the Orion Syndicate if there had indeed been one. Not ready to accept their invitation for her to return to either of their quarters, and certainly not ready to open up her quarters to them, Sabrina had elected for a neutral setting… like the bar on the 2nd floor of the casino. What the ExO had not expected upon had been that she would attract so much attention off the dance floor, enough to make it impossible for her have any sort of genuine discussion with either of the two men she had come here with.

"My ship… the Star Cruiser… is at the docking station on the other side of the planet… and I would be honoured to make it at your disposal and open the universe to you. Just image it… you… me… and countless stars." One of the gentlemen who had gathered around the young woman offered, getting just close enough to touch the Orion woman's arm before being shoved aside.

"I've seen that rusting junk pile you claim is a ship… what I offer is much better… traveling first class on the most renowned and chic interstellar cruisers the galaxy has to offer. You wouldn't have to lift a finger; you and I could travel the cosmos and indulge in our wildest fantasies." Another suitor, this one an obviously very well-off Bolian said.

"Don't forget to mention to the lady that you already have 5 wives… and that your fantasies tend to involve things that she might not be into." A third men, this one a Benzite, clarified to the visible displeasure of the second. With the 2 of them now busy arguing with one another, the rest of the gathered crowd continued their attempts to win the alluring woman's favours.

"You seem to be attracting quite a lot of attention." A Talarian warrior said as he pushed through the crowd and slide right next to the emerald skin beauty.

"Must be my perfume… it came highly recommended." The young woman grinned, wondering just how she would manage to escape this awkward predicament, one that in all honesty she was not entirely disliking. For a brief moment, Rikar's mind drifted to another place, another time where Enaii and her had taken on the roles of Tarkillian Spirit Mates during an undercover mission which had seem them sold and bought as slaves. Back then the young woman could clearly remember having had many problems with playing the role that had been required of her… an interesting contrast compared to the ease with which she had become Silthris Brakas and used all of her assets to attract potential targets for her Intel gathering expedition.

"Whatever the cause might be… she was with us first." Akwar announced, having had more than enough. Sitting by while his *date* was being drooled over by countless other man had been one thing, but all of the efforts had come across as being just that… playful attempts. What the Talarian had done on the other hand had been completely different and his moving in as he had proved that he had not been playing any games and that his final intentions had been crystal clear… he wanted to be with the intoxicating woman.

"Go back to the poker tables… there you will at least have a chance to win something… and leave *her* to me." The Talarian warned, clearly challenging the Napean who stood almost a complete half a meter shorter.

"Nice try… but my friend here is right, she was with us first… and we have 2 things playing in our favour." Pellum announced as he rose from the stool he had been sitting on and leaned in closer to the Talarian, not at all looking threatening in any way.

"I am not afraid of you little man." Classion chuckled at the Miradorn, looking back at the man with a passive rage in his eyes that simply hinted to what the warrior could and would do to him if given the chance.

"Shetaw brim grennelf." Was all that Herril replied… 3 words that had meant nothing to the greater majority of those present, but 3 words that had clearly established who had been on the winning side of this little friendly disagreement. To the young woman's surprise, Akwar appeared to not have understood what his companion had said, which could only mean that he and Pellum had not been as involved in each other's affairs as Rikar had first imagined. That said though, what the Miradorn had said, and more specifically in the tongue that he had said it in, proved to a certain extent that the emerald skin woman had been right about one thing… there had been some link to the Orion Syndicate.

"What did you say to him?" The ExO inquired, faking as best she could amusement and gratitude as the Talarian made a hasty exit out of the bar area. Although she had recognised the warning spoken in native Orion through the ambient noise of the casino, the young woman had thought it prudent to act as if she had not heard what had been said, thus hopefully giving her a continued advantage against the 2 individual who had now truly peeked her Intel curiosity.

"Nothing to concern yourself with my lovely." Pellum reassured as he ever so gently rubbed the young woman's emerald cheek with the back of his fingers. With a gesture of his head, the Miradorn man instructed his friend to join them by taking a somewhat protective position on the other side of the emerald skin woman who had been at the centre of this little diversion.

"So, how about we enjoy those drinks we came here for?" Akwar announced as he waved to the bartender to approach before ordering 3 glasses of their best Champagne which made the young woman once again reconsider the Napean's association with the Miradorn. Had the 2 been only friends of passing acquaintances, the ExO strongly doubted that either of them would have felt comfortable enough ordering such an expensive drink for the 3 of them… this meant that the 2 of them did know each other beyond the confines of the TANGIERS ORBITAL and that in most likelihood Akward had either been a subordinate or apprentice to Pellum Herril. All that was left for Rikar to do had been to figure out what field of affairs the 2 men had been involved with and if indeed they had ties to the Orion Slave Market as she now suspected more than ever.
