Rixx, the Edo who was known in another life as the Enaran Pravat, had helped Lea reach her quarters. To say that he had helped her was actually a grave understatement. The reason for this was because the Marine had carried her full weight for most of the trip. Being the gentleman that he was, Pravat paid no attention to Lea's ramblings during that time. He knew that it was not her speaking but the alcohol, so he gave her words no credibility. Lea was as drunk as the proverbial sailor and if luck would have it, the CMO would not remember anything come morning.

"I feel sorry for David," Lea said out of the blue. Worried that she might say something that the Halanan should not have been aware of, Rixx hastened his pace. As long as she kept her references vague, the Edo could claim that she had been mumbling nonsense. Luckily, those who had been in the corridor with them seemed uninterested in Lea or her drunken ramblings.

"I'm sure he appreciates the sentiment," Pravat said in a whispered voice. The Enaran could only imagine who difficult it had all been for the CEO. Losing his brother, being removed from duty, but those had been things that came with the uniform. Pravat knew this all too well having lost people that were close to him during the course of their missions. None of them had been brothers or sister by blood, but that had not made the loss any less painful.

"No he doesn't," Lea said, almost losing her balance as she turned to look at Pravat who had gone to open the door. "He is too busy thinking about himself to notice me," Lea added before breaking out into sobs.

"We all have a great deal on our minds," Pravat said, dropping the masquerade for a brief moment. For that brief moment, the Marine had spoken to the ANUBIS' CMO and not to the Halanan woman. "I am sure that he appreciates your concern. If not now, he will in time."

Quickly reaching for the unsteady woman, Pravat took her once again in his arms and brought her into her quarters. The Enaran knew that trying to have her walk in of her own power would be a waste of time, so he didn't even try. Lifting Lea into the air, the Edo carried the Halanan into the safety of her quarters, placing her on the bed.

"Rest," Pravat grinned, watching Lea craw on her bed and embrace the pillow. "Tomorrow is another day," and with that the Marine left the CMO to sleep her troubles away.

Lea wondered the maze of corridors on the 7th floor of the casino, her thoughts still on the ANUBIS' CEO. The half hour nap that Lea had taken had given her enough strength to walk on her own. Luckily for the CMO, the walls had been close by helping her to remain standing as she placed one foot in front of the other. Barely.

"Having a problem?" Someone said, making Lea look up to see what appeared to be a Vulcan. Had Lea not been impaired as she was, she might have noticed the smile on the man's face. If the open display of emotion had not been enough, Lea might have recognised the logo on the man's lapel. To Lea in her drunken state, these meant nothing, but to anyone else it identified the man as Romulan, not Vulcan.

"I'm looking for my friend," Lea said, this time stumbling to her knees.

"Well, your friend is not here," T'Prell hissed, looking at the empty corridor around them.

"AVALON," Lea mumbled, not realising that she had said this out lout or that it had absolutely nothing to do with her predicament. What saying that word did though was to create an immediate interest in the Romulan man.

Curious to see if the Halanan woman had anything to do with the ship, T'Preel changed his attitude. "Why don't you come with me, maybe we can find your friend together?"

With her thoughts scrambled to the point of no return, Lea accepted the offer and followed T'Preel to his quarters. By next morning the CMO would regret having left her quarters, but right now she just wanted to see David. Part of Lea's reason having been that she wanted to help him through his hard time. Another part wanting for the CEO to notice her as a friend and maybe more.
