"Thoughtful Planning"

Setting: TANGIER'S ORBITAL, 7th Floor, Brell's Quarters
David sat on the bed with a chain in his hand with a
dangling piece of jewerly on it. It was a circle with
a spinning centerpiece to it and when it was spun
showed the initals D.D. and J.D. David remembered when
his little brother made that for him when he was in
the 4th grade... it was a reminder that not only were
they brothers, but friends forever. His blood had been
boiling all night, for the former CEO of the
Federation starship ANUBIS didn't sleep but studied
the images of Gul Zulot and T'Preel. From what little
live feed he was able to retrieve, he studied their
movements, their swagger and the more he watched, the
more his hatred for them grew. The massive engineer
stood and walked across the floor to the bathroom and
looked in the mirror. As he brought up the light, the
reflection scared him. His reflection's eyes were
bloodshot with red rings around the hazel irises.
**Well... well... well... its about time you realized that
you can not escape me**
"Leave me alone" David hissed, rubbing his temples.
**I'm sorry... but rubbing your temples *won't* make me
go away. We are one David, but I see that you're
tired... let me take care of you...**
"I know the damage you're capable of!" David grumbled,
"so why should I?"
**REVENGE!** his reflection bellowed, **that's the
name of the game isn't it?! They killed *our*
brother...**
"Don't you dare!" David said hotly, "Jordan was *my*
brother, not yours!"
**David, David, David. When will you learn? What is
yours is mine. *MY* parents are dead, *MY* brother is
dead... and *we* have a way and means to eliminate the
sons a bitches who did this! But in order for that to
happen, you *must* let go and let me...**
"NO!" David snapped, "I will not! Leave me the hell
alone!" he said as he spun away from the mirror, but
could still hear the voice in his head.
**Try as you may, I *will* have my day in the sun
David. It is inevitible!**
"Not if I have anything to do with it" the CEO said as
he put on his vest and left his quarters, remembering
his 'meeting' he had to attend.

Kreedar Brell, aka Lieutenant David Dawson entered the
lounge and spotted an Andorian and Orion woman enjoying
each other's company from a distance. As he made his way to the buffet
table, David heard the voice of Commander Rikar.
=/\= Good morning Mr. Brell... you're looking *very*
handsome this morning =/\=
David made a few selections and scratched his bald
head above his right ear and touched his dermal comm
badge.
"Very funny Commander" the former CEO replied, "and
where's the rest of your clothes?"
=/\= She's playing the part Lieutenant =/\= the voice of
Captain James Simmons he heard next, =/\= very well I
might add. =/\=
=/\= Thank you Captain =/\= Siltrish replied and smiled
as the CEO took his seat.
=/\= So... care to fill the ExO in on what you discovered
Lieutenant? =/\= James said as took a bite of some
Bajoran Kava fruit.
David explained what he found, what he heard and
Sabrina listened with mixed emotions. She was shocked,
and above all surprised.
=/\= So... you're telling me they killed Jordan? And
their planning on killing James? =/\= the ExO asked.
=/\= Killed Jordan yes... killing the captain I'm not
sure of... but they *are* going to pay. =/\=
=/\= Lieutenant =/\= the CO of the ANUBIS said,
=/\= remember our conversation. =/\=
David glared at his CO. =/\= I haven't forgotten it. =/\=
=/\= So..what's next?=/\= Sabrina asked.
=/\= We wait... for the rest of the senior staff and
compare notes... =/\= and James looked at David and
could see and feel the hatred and anger pouring off
the engineer.
=/\=In time David... we'll see them brought to
justice=/\= Sabrina said as she placed her hand on top
of his.
**Time...** David heard in his head, **there's none
like the present** he heard and a sinister laugh to go
along with it.
