Enaii stood in front of the doors to Sickbay and sighed. She did *not* want to be doing this, Sabrina had played dirty and she would remember it. Growling audibly, the Operative steeled herself and walked into the Medical Hospital.

"Ensign Summers," Enaii spat. She did not like this woman much, Lea had attacked her wife once before, and whether the Doctor remembered it or not, the Operative did.

"Commander!" the Chief Medical Officer announced in surprise. The look on the woman's face mirroring fear and perhaps shame. "Is something wrong?"

"You tell me," The Intel Agent hissed.

Lea's face fell, "You're here because I ruined the mission…" she squeaked.

Enaii looked unimpressed. "You did not," she replied bluntly. Her heart clearly wasn't in this.

"I was captured," the Doctor countered, "No one else was captured…"

The Operative rolled her eyes, it was frustrating to work with people who did not understand Intel as she so intimately did. "Being captured is irrelevant. I have been captured many times in the course of my career. What matters is that you did not reveal any information."

Ensign Summers looked sceptical, but slightly relieved at the same time. "How do you know I didn't? I could have said anything and never remember it…"

The Chief Medical Officer looked hopeful, Enaii hoped that this conversation would soon be over. "If you had, they would have had no further use for you. You would be dead," she announced coldly.

Lea's face fell and horror flashed across her eyes. She had not realised how close to death she had been. Her eyes beginning to tear up, the woman croaked a reply. "If that's everything Commander, I'd really like to get back to work now."

Shrugging, the Operative turned and left the room, determined to make Sabrina pay for this unwelcome chore as soon as she completed it.

Setting: USS ANUBIS - Black Hole

Serena had predictably started her morning rounds already, and the Operative, after having tried unsuccessfully to catch up with the woman, decided to wait for her in the Lounge.

"Good Morning Enaii," the former Security Officer announced. "This is a rare surprise."

The Operative growled. "Want a drink? There's some decent Romulan Spirits at the bar."

The Operations Officer raised an eyebrow, it made her look distinctly Vulcan. "It's not even 0900 hours…"

The Intelligence Liaison Officer sighed, "Breakfast then?"

Serena knew the woman fairly well, this was entirely out of character. "What is this about?"

Enaii appeared disgruntled. "I am… concerned… for you." The words tasted sour and sounded forced.

"Excuse me?" the Romulan hybrid countered in disbelief.

The Operative stood and placed a hand very gently on the woman's shoulder. "You may not have the heart of a Tal Shiar agent, but you are one of the best Federation Officers I know."

Serena's face wasn't nearly as distraught as the Doctor's had been, but the woman still looked like she was not sure whether she was insulted or complimented.

"Don't be too hard on yourself," Enaii continued as she made her way toward the door, leaving the Operations Officer to ponder the meaning of her final words, "I don't think you're a bad officer."

Setting: USS ANUBIS - Bridge

Enaii arrived on the Bridge to see the Chief Science Officer just as the Military Chief was leaving and only seconds before her wife, Sabrina, arrived at her station from the other side of the Bridge.

"Maya!" Enaii declared as she walked determinedly over to the woman.

The Shillian looked up but before she opened her mouth Enaii spoke. The Operative was determined to say everything she needed to say before the Scientist could get a word in edgewise, otherwise she would be here for far too long.

"You are not a failure. Even if your abilities as a Shillian are lacking, your scientific mind is unmatched. You may have lost control of your body's most basic functions, however since it was after the mission was terminated no harm was done." Enaii finished, rather proud that she'd managed to say everything before the woman had gone off on a tangent of her own.

The Chief Science Officer whimpered. "I'm a failure as a Shillian Being!" she exclaimed, a high pitched cry escaping her throat.

The Operative's shoulders slumped. "You didn't hear me. I said you're a great scientist even if you're deficient in your shape-changing abilities."

Another high-pitched wail filled the Bridge causing Sabrina to forcefully pull Enaii away from the woman. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!? Go! Forget I asked you for anything!" the Executive Officer snapped as she moved over to the side of the Shillian and placed a caring arm around her.

Enaii stood solidly on the spot she had been moved to. "You don't want me to motivate the crew?"

Sabrina's glare shot daggers at her wife. "Does she look motivated to you?!?"

The Operative was quiet for a moment as the Scientist's sobs began to dim down slightly. "What will you do?"

The Executive Officer rolled her eyes and growled, "I guess I'll have to throw a diner party…"
