Setting: Nowhere
She felt without feeling, thought without thinking. Was this the afterlife? A fate worse than death. She had never been one to believe in such things, such creations as heaven and hell, yet now she suffered her own personal purgatory. Surely though, for all the deeds of her life, if it existed, hell was her destination and this nothingness no more than an eternal step on the way.
She tried to remember something, a smell, Talia's hair, but with no corporeal form her senses were non-existent. She wanted to remember the faces of her family, but she was forced to see without image… her mind was unable to form pictures. She had no true thought, just fleeting ideas that passed in an instant and an eternity.
She could bring only one thing to mind at a time, like desperately wanting to save the people on the planet, but that thought was gone now, too hard to hold. She was everywhere and nowhere, the universe was clear and she was confused, or was it the other way around?

Stardate: 60326.0810
Setting: Talia's Special Place (Somewhere on Deck 5)
She didn't know where she was, but she knew how to get here. She had to take the turbolift to deck five, go down the corridor, turn left twice and right once, go into the Jeffrey's Tube and continue down past the ladder. It was always tricky to get across the open area, but on the other side, where she was now, there was a wall panel that opened up and there was nothing but emptiness inside.
She had found this place when they first moved to the ANUBIS and had brought a small lamp and a couple books here, as well as some dried fruit and a disruptor her mother had given her for protection. She liked to think that when she was here this place was all that existed. There were no distractions here, no people telling her what to do or how to feel. She used this place whenever her Nan'ha and Bina would be away for days at a time. It made her feel like the separation was as much her idea as it was theirs.
Sometimes she liked to study here, she had promised her Nan'ha she would get the rest of Module Four done today, and she intended to do so. When her Nan'ha got back she didn't want her to be mad. Nana'ha would be proud of her for being such a big girl, she would be mad at Bina though for not taking good care of things when she was gone. Talia didn't want Nan'ha to be mad at Bina and decided she would go home after she was finished her work and clean up the big mess Bina left in the living room so that Nan'ha would never know. She had to go home anyway, she forgot Capi in the kitchen when she ran out, but she was pretty sure the monkey would be ok until she got back.
Wiping her lips on her sleeve, she noticed the orangey streak of blood that came from her mouth onto the fabric and instantly she felt a little guilty. She should not have bitten Bina, after all Bina didn't know how people didn't really die. Bina didn't understand that Nan'ha just needed to go away for a little while, just like she did before, and that she would be back. Nan'ha would never leave them, she protected them, she would be back and she would see how much of a big girl Talia had been while she was gone. Bina didn't know how Nan'ha promised to take care of her, how she said when she woke up it would all be over… she just did not sleep long enough. Tonight she would sleep longer and maybe Nan'ha would be back in the morning.
Selecting the written section of Module four on the green PADD beside her, the girl picked up the answer PADD and began entering the answers to all the questions listed there, researching the questions she wasn't quite sure of.
