"There Should Have Been A Memo About This"

Lea had gone looking for her friend Susan. After what Lea had learned over breakfast, speaking to the ship's Cns seemed to be the only thing to do. Serenna had pulled Maya out of Stellar Cartography and forced some food in the Shillian. By the way Maya had devoured what had been on her plate the CSciO had been starving. Once Maya had finished satiating her hunger she began answering Serenna's questions. The questions had been short and to the point. Unfortunately the answers had not been so direct. If Lea had not wanted so desperately to learn what had happened to Enaii, the CMO would have walked out right there and then. Maya was a very sweet person, but she did have one very bad habit. The CSciO had a practice of talking too much. *Way* too much.
From what Lea had overheard Enaii had met her untimely demise following a freak transporter accident. According to Serenna the mishap could not have been avoided. Maya on the other hand had believed otherwise and blamed herself for the loss of the ILO. At one time Serenna even let it slip that Sabrina had also been blaming herself as well as David. With this entire self blaming Lea felt less as if she had been in some way responsible. Although Lea had figured out the general picture the CMO still needed some questions answered. And who better than the ship's Cns?
The computer had reported Susan's location to be in the corridor outside of the Marine's training area. That by itself had been strange enough but when Lea got there she found her friend leaning back against the wall. Alone.
"Everything all right?" Lea asked, playfully bumping into her friend.
"Just peachy. I was showing the ship to Uxtar and Nico and we ended down here."
"Spending time with a Nausicaan and Hirogen must be loads of fun," Lea said in a teasing manner. Susan could only be thankful that her friend did not know about the Cns having walked in on Nico while he had been in the buff. If Lea had known, Susan could only imagine the kind of teasing she would have been the garget of.
"It does have its moments," Lea sarcastically grinned. "I am just trying to figure out what to do with them next. As big as the ANUBIS is, it is not a luxury cruiser."
Lea nodded. Entertaining visitors had not been part of the thinking process when the ANUBIS had been constructed. It made sense since the ship had been designed to be an Intel / Special Ops ship. "Tell you what, you answer some questions and I will take care of them for you."
Susan did not hesitate to take her friend up on her offer. Lea and Susan spent the next few minutes discussing everything about the situation surrounding Enaii's death. Since the CMO and Cns shared the same department, the flow of confidential information was not a problem.
By the time Susan had finished explaining everything the Cns was on her way to see Maya. Lea on the other hand had stayed behind waiting for Uxtar and Nico to come out of their workout.
