Setting: USS ANUBIS, Deck 14, Corridor
Stardate: 60327.1235
Rushing through the empty corridors of the ship, the Romulan/Terran hybrid was responding to the message sent out to the security teams located on Deck 14 who had been instructed to escort the three women up to the bridge. Not having heard any hint of urgency in the Nausicaan's voice the XO could only guess as to the manner in which the three missing officers had suddenly reappeared inside of the ANUBIS. Remembering her own reaction when they had learned that the CMO had been only one of three officers who had vanished from the ship, the hybrid had been very curious to see if their disappearances had anything to do with the upcoming court-martial of the ANUBIS' CEO.
Rounding a corner the XO saw that two security teams had arrived ahead of her and had already begun leading the three women towards the nearest turbolift to take them to the bridge. Closing in on the group the Romulan/Terran hybrid thought that it had been foolish for her to think that she might have actually been the first on sight, the thoroughness and diligence of their new Sec/Tac had been exemplary despite her personal feelings and objections to him and his ways.
As the sound of the approaching XO grew louder, the CMO turned to look over her shoulder and quickly confronted the Romulan/Terran hybrid with their present situation. "What's going on Commander?"
Stopping the Ensign from continuing on a tone that could very well have the XO snap back at the CMO with accusations of insubordination, the CSciO interrupted not at all wanting to have to deal with another set of official charges and maybe even another court-martial this one weighing over the shoulders of Lea. Speaking with a much calmer tone, Lt. Cmdr. Maya addressed the ANUBIS' First Officer. "Commander, would it be all right if we requested an explanation, I mean we were cornered by security seconds after we came out of the Bio Chemistry Lab and all that they have been able to tell us is that we are to be escorted to the bridge. Did we do something wrong? Was this caused by something Jaycee or En said about our conduct during the research and our divergence of opinion in regards to the objective of our work? It is true that we were working towards the same goal but the path we were on was almost opposite to the one they had chosen to follow."
Expecting the CSciO to continue on for several more minutes the Romulan/Terran hybrid interrupted the Shillian trying her best to make sense of the tidal wave of information that had been hurled out by the fast-talking scientist. "Hold on and let's start at the beginning. The reason my security was called was because for the last several hours you three have been reported as not being on either the ANUBIS or NEW ALEXANDRIA. Internal sensors could not find you *anywhere*."
Looking as puzzled as the others, the three women exchanged several rapid glances as each tried to understand how all of this could have happened. Being the one with the most experience and also the mind for scientific explanations, the CSciO was the first to comment on what the XO had said. "Commander, I cannot say for sure what happened but given the fears displayed by both Jaycee and En, it is very likely that it was one of them who somehow disabled the internal sensors in the Bio Chemistry Lab masking their presence as well as ours while we where there."
Trying very hard to make sense of the story being told by the CSciO, the Romulan/Terran hyrbrid immediately jumped on the one aspect of the explanation that did not seen to fit into place. "Who are Jaycee and En? I do not recall anyone by those names assigned to the ANUBIS."
Finding their treatment less than pleasant the CMO pushed her way past the CSciO and moved as close to the XO as she could before being stopped by two members of the security team that had been escorting them. "They are Enaii's sisters! They called us to the Bio Chemistry Lab and asked us to help them come up with a solution to David's condition."
Wondering how such a story could have been true, given the information that the Romulan/Terran hybrid had been given during the earlier search for the three missing officers, the XO informed the CMO as well as the other two of the lack of evidence supporting their claim. "Internal sensors showed no one coming onboard of the ANUBIS and there were no internal communications made within the last several hours. Ensign Rostov was very thorough and left no deck plate unturned in his search for you after we discovered that you were all missing."
Seeing that the account of the last hours did not match the official records of the ship the CSciO offered the only available option that she could if the three of them were to not be thought of as liars or insane. "Commander, if you would be so kind as to check the Bio Chemistry Lab, I am certain that you will find some physical evidence to confirm our account of the events we have mentioned. I mean there is bound to be cellular residue present on one of the countless PADDs or throughout the room to confirm that we were there along with two other people whose DNA would in some way match that of Lt. Cmdr. Enaii confirming that they were indeed her sisters."
Wanting to confirm the fact as they had been laid out, the Romulan/Terran hybrid requested that two of the security officers went with her to the lab while the others continued with the task that they had been entrusted with by the Sec/Tac officer.

Setting: USS ANUBIS, CO's Ready Room
Stardate: 60327.1255
Having been listening to the story told by the CMO, Cns and CSciO, the CO could hardly believe her ears, and although some of what they had said made perfect sense Cpt, Rikar could not bring herself to let go a one specific detail brought forth by the three officers. "I still find it hard to believe that Enaii had any siblings. True she rarely, if ever spoke of her family, but from what I was able to gather Enaii had no other immediate family than the one which was and still is onboard the ANUBIS."
Throwing her arms up in desperation the CMO turned to look at the Sec/Tac officer who had been asked to be present in the CO's Ready Room during the investigation to help clarify the situation. Confronting the much taller alien, the Ensign felts a strain on her neck as she looked up at the Nausicaan. "You are going to tell me that there are no records *anywhere* of Enaii have two sisters, of them having been onboard the ANUBIS or even of us having spent hours working with them?"
Instead of replying to the question of the CMO, the Nausicaan remained quiet whatever he had been ready to say having been interrupted by the sound of the door chime to which the CO responded by remotely opening the door having been expecting the person on the other side. "So what have you found Commander?"
Appearing a little distraught the XO moved past the Sec/Tac officer and the three women without meeting their gazes, focussing her complete attention on the woman sitting on the other side of the desk. "Engineering has inspected the internal sensors in the Bio Chemistry Lab and have found them to be in perfect working order, in addition there were no signs of anyone having been in that room."
