Setting: USS ANUBIS, Corridor outside Sickbay
Stardate: 60327.1700
Looking at the door to Sickbay the Romulan/Terran hybrid could barely grasp the full meaning of what she had seen and heard in the officer of Admiral Koniki. Thinking that maybe it had all been a dream or a very sophisticated trickery the XO found herself almost scared to walk into the room and confirm that her Academy friend was indeed alive, a state that directly contradicted the way he had been when she had followed the ANUBIS' CO.
Being sceptical of everything had been a natural defence of the Romulan/Terran hybrid which had served her well over the years making her question many concepts that had all too often been taken for granted by others. Applying this same way of thinking to the current situation though had proven to be a detriment making the XO unable to just walk in and be thankful for what had happened. Unable to stop thinking that there might have been something else behind the miraculous recovery of their CEO, the hybrid could not bring herself to blindly accept that David was alive and that everything would in time return to normal.

Setting: USS ANUBIS, Sickbay
Stardate: 60327.1710
Standing in the middle of the now opened doorway the Romulan/Terran hybrid observed the CMO and the rest of the medical staff including the ship's EMH working on and around the body of the CEO. According to the medical readouts being displayed on the monitors overlooking the biobed on which the patient was on, David was alive according to every known medical definitions of the term.
Having finally decided to fully enter Sickbay, the XO headed towards the ship's Cns while glancing for a brief moment at the Nausicaan Sec/Tac who seemed to be keeping a watchful eye on the undead CEO as if expecting him to suddenly jump to his feet and attack those trying to save him. Arriving next to Ens. Mei, the Romulan/Terran hybrid inquired as to the status of Lt. Dawson. "How is he?"
Never taking her eyes off the laboring CMO, the Cns waited for a few seconds before giving her reply, checking the medical readouts as if wanting to confirm that what she was about to say had actually been the truth. "He's alive, barely. Lea is trying to stabilize his vital signs but as of right now his final fate is still in the air."
Looking away from the CMO and scanning the entirety of Sickbay the XO tried to picture in her mind what could have happened to cause the return to life of their CEO. Having witnessed the EMH declare the official time of death had made it extremely difficult for the Romulan/Terran hybrid to accept that David could have spontaneously returned from the dead making the hybrid suspect that something or someone else had been involved in this unexpected turn of event. Wanting to get to the bottom of this mystery Serenna asked, "What happened?"
Appearing unsure at first the ship's Cns tried to formulate a precise answer to give to the XO but after a few moments Ens. Mei realized that she did not have a clear or direct explanation, so instead she would have to relay the events as she had experienced them. "Lea wanted to be alone, so I left her although reluctantly but I had confidence that she would call me or someone else if she needed something. Ens. Rostov and I talked for a little while and when we heard her scream we rushed back into the room to find her going on and on about having seen Enaii in the room next to David. The next thing we knew Lt. Cmdr. Maya and Lt. Pravat joined us in Sickbay and discovered that David displayed weak vital signs."
Suspecting that someone else had been involved in the miraculous recovery of their CEO had been one thing but to go as far as to accept that this intervention had been from a dead ILO had been an entirely different thing, and the Romulan/Terran hybrid had not been at all ready to make such a leap. Looking at Ens. Mei with a clear expression of disbelief, the XO hoped that the Cns would be able to offer a more plausible explanation even if only as an unproven theory.
Understanding the look she saw on the face of the XO, the ship's Cns tried to make the sequence of events she had reported make a little more sense by adding speculations as to what she believed had happened. "Back in the Bio Chemistry Lab Lea, Maya and myself worked with two women, one of which appeared almost identical to Enaii. My guess is that for one reason or another that woman returned here and did something to David after he had been declared dead. As it was in the lab, neither Nico or Maya found any evidence of anyone having been in the room others than those who should have been."
Finding that part of the story much more believable even though there had been no proof to support the Cns' theory, the Romulan/Terran hybrid decided to further investigate that aspect by seeking out the CSciO. "Can you tell me where Lt. Cmdr. Maya is?'
Looking over the shoulder of the XO, Ens. Mei replied to the question certain that the officer in question had not left from where she had disappeared to. "Lt. Cmdr. Maya is in the CMO's office verifying the internal sensor logs and I suspect trying to find a scientific explanation as to why David's physiology suddenly restarted. I believe that Lt. Pravat is also there with her."
Thanking the Cns with a nod of her head the Romulan/Terran hybrid headed for the CMO's office but not before having given the CMO herself another glance, watching her perform countless tasks all of which were aimed to keep the CEO in his restored status of *living*.

Setting: USS ANUBIS, CMO's Office
Stardate: 60327.1720
Walking into the officer of Ens. Summers the XO found the CSciO busily working at the monitor while the Enaran MCO watched from across the room. Noticing the arrival of the Romulan/Terran hybrid into the room Pravat snapped to attention causing the hybrid to reciprocate in kind before motioning towards the working Shillian.
Wiping the grin that had appeared on his face less than a second before the Marine just shook his head indicating that as far as he had known the CSciO had not made any progress on either discovering the identity of the 'ghost' that the CMO had claimed to see or the reason why the CEO had been brought back to life.
Appearing disappointed although not entirely surprised the Romulan/Terran hybrid thanked the watchful MCO with a nod of her head and allowed him to return to his previous observations before leaving the office to return to the Bridge where Capt. Rikar had said she would be waiting for updates on the situation pertaining to Lt. Dawson's condition and status.
