"Making a Lasting First Impression"

Setting: USS HATHOR, Holodeck
Ensign Elizabeth Halliwel was off duty so she decided to practice
emergency procedures at the Holodeck.
"Computer?" Ensign Halliwel said making the computer beep. "Activate
Elizabeth Halliwel Sickbay 1 Alpha." Elizabeth continued.
=/\= Program activated =/\= the HATHOR's computer said, sounding like
no other computer Elizabeth had ever heard before.
"Okay let's get my studying rolling." Ensign Halliwel said
enthusiastically.
=/\= Ensign Halliwel, there are 3 injured patients heading your way! Be
ready! =/\= Elizabeth heard the voice of the HATHOR's CO say the moment she
stepped inside the room.
"Yes captain!"
And not much later 3 injured patients got brought into the sickbay followed by a hologram which had the looks of the ANUBIS' CMO, Doctor Lea Summers.
"Hello Lea! Can you assist me with these patients!" Ensign Halliwel
said without knowing Lea wasn't a Hologram.
"Ensign, aren't you the one who is supposed to assist ME?" Lea said. The friendlyness of the other woman had taken the CMO by surprise. As time passed though, Lea quickly understood that Elizabeth believed that the CMO was part of the simulation.
"Uh not in this Holo-program your not." Ensign Halliwel respondend.
"EXCUSE ME? I Beg your pardon." Lea gasped.
"You’re a Holo-Projection for Heavens Sake!" Halliwel responded a
little upset at the attitude the holographic woman was giving her.
"Excuse me I am Doctor Summers, the Chief Medical Officer on this
ship!" Lea responded furiously.
Elizabeth’s face seemed to look very shocked! "Computer? End program."
Ensign Halliwel stood int he empty holodeck with an expression of
complete shock. Everything had vanished with the exception of the angry looking CMO.
"Sorry M’am I did not know it was you for real." Elizabeth said with
her heart beating faster than ever.
"Well you SHOULD ALWAYS take precaution, so IF I wasn’t that for real
you would of treated me like THAT!?!?" Lea asked still a little burned.
"Well, no… maybe?" Ensign Halliwel said.
"MAYBE? MAYBE!!! Well let's just put sand over this, BUT don't let this
EVER happen again, understood?" Lea said.
"Yes M’am!" Ensign Halliwel responded while her heart started beating at normal rate.
"You can activate it again." Lea said referring tot he holodeck program, now that she had cooled down. As the NATHOR's CMO, Lea had been curious to see what would happen next in this program.
"Computer, activate Elizabeth Halliwel Sickbay 1 Alpha."
The computer complied and the holographic sickbay reappeared around them.
"There are the patients let's treat them." Lea said.
Elizabeth got going treating the three patients. "Well you did that just fine, but it could be better, but you have a long way to go." Lea said.
"Well I guess I did okay, only the one with the severe burns was hard to treat though." Elizabeth responded.
"Let’s head to The Black Hole for lunch." Lea said. "But first you can
assist me with a physical examination of our Ops officer"
"Okay let’s get going."
The two women walked out into the corridor when Elizabeth bumped into
Ensign Kea. "Oh sorry Ensign." Elizabeth said.
"Well just watch out where your heading okay, I might have been holding
a sample of boiling lava and you would
of spilled it on one of us!" Ensign Kea responded laughing.

Lea smiled. The examination of Ensign Kea had gone very well, and Lea
had been impressed with her new assistant. That the physical exam had taken
place in *her* sickbay had made it that much nicer for the CMO.
Lea, Elizabeth and Carft stepped into the turbolift after having left
Sickbay. "Black Hole." Lea said. The turbolift started running and then they
arrived near the Black Hole.
"So what are you having as lunch?" Ensign Halliwel curiously asked Lea.
Well I think I’m going to have some Black Coffee and Talxian Tomato
Soup and some grapes." Lea replied.
"What about you?" Lea asked Ensign Halliwel.
"I'm going to have my fave foods, Herbal Tea Talaxian Salade and a
banana to finish it off." Ensign Halliwel responded.
"Sounds good." Lea said. They took a seat at a table and talked about
the different experiences they had.
