"New ship, New Mission"

Setting: USS ANUBIS, Sickbay
As Ens. Halliwell was transfered to USS ANUBIS for this mission everything was new again.
"Wow." Liz let out with a gasp.
"Its spacious huh?" Maya grinned.
"Definitly bigger." the CMO of USS ANUBIS nodded.
"Well have a look around," the Lt.Cmdr. said, "I you need me I'll be in my quarters." as Maya said that she walked out of sickbay.
The confused CMO wasn't too enthusiastic that she had been transferred because she just started to get some friends. She didn't mind it though. Her grandfather always told her: Good things take a long time, Great things happen all at once.
The CMO started *exploring* the sickbay, as it's size was big compared to the closet sized sickbay on the USS HATHOR. It didn't take long for Liz to think that it might take a bit longer than she had thought to know where all the equipment was.
As Doctor Halliwell put all her things at her desk she noticed an old datapad.
"Hmmm, startdate 60326.1700." Doctor Halliwell mumbled.
She was just about to read it before she realized this was private. Liz put the datapad in her bag so she could give it to Doctor Summers after the mission.
Ens. Halliwell decided that she knew most things which we're most used.
"Time to interact with people beside from only Lea and Susan." Liz sighed.
She cleaned up all her personall belongings and headed to the Mess Hall.

As the Doctor walked down the corridor she bumped into the giant who was known as Lt. Fairborn. They never had interacted with one another so Elizabeth decided to introduce herself.
"Hi, I'm Elizabeth Halliwell the CMO." Doctor Halliwell greeted.
"Salutation Healer, I am Elan and it is an honour to finally meet you," the Lieutenant said seriously, bowing to the woman as if she outranked him by several steps.
"Likewise," Liz said flattered
"Where are you heading wise Healer." Elan said gracefully
"The Black Hole, you?" Liz answered.
"I'll be very honoured to escort you, if I may." Elan responded taking a small bow.
"Of course you can escort me if you wish." The "healer" nodded.
"Let us move on then." Elan said.

Doctor Halliwell and Elan entered the Black Hole and sat down.
A waiter came and asked:" Whom may I serve?"
"Can I please have a herbal tea?" Elizabeth asked
"Would you like a beverage or meal of any sort sir?" The waiter asked Elan.
"No thank you." Elan responded very politely.
"Healer, I'm very sorry, as much as I like to continue getting to know you I must report to my duties unfortunately. If you do need anything Healer, please contact me then." Elan said as he took a bow and waved goodbye.
The CMO was absolutely flattered by Elan and waved goodbye to him.
After getting her Herbal Tea, she started reading a libary datapad.
It wasn't really of any interest to her, but it just looked more professional.
"Hey." Liz heard coming from her side.
It was Maya, one of the other crewmembers she had interacted with.
"Hi." Ens. Halliwell answered.
"What are you reading?" Maya asked her.
"Uh, well it's actually not an interest of mine." Doctor Halliwell responded.
"Hah, I know that, the *look professional* thing, I used to do that in my school, my teachers would all think I was studying all the time." Maya laughed.
"Oh, you saw right through me." Doctor Halliwell grinned actually having a *REAL* laugh.
A waiter came to their table and asked: "Goodmorning, could I offer anyone a beverage or meal perhaps?"
"Yes please, could I have a coffee black?" Maya asked happily.
She seemed rather cheerful.
After the waiter brought the coffee Maya simply stared at the coffee.
The CSciO sipped a bit of her coffee but put the coffee right down on the table.
"Still to warm huh?" Elizabeth commented.
Maya nodded, "Do you feel at home yet I mean with the crew and all?I remember when I was just new, so many people, so overwhelming. I remember when I set first foot in this ship, in my whole life I never met an other Shillian, It was funny though, some of the Shillians thought I was a Trill, but it wasn't meant offensively so I didn't mind, but it bothered me a little that day..." she said.
"Yeah I understand how it is, I think..." Liz said being a bit too optimistic.
"Ok, don't hide your feelings though because people might start to get to know a different you, at school I pretended that I thought my best friends cousin was nice but that all turned out to become a huge dissaster!!!" Maya said.
As they both chatted a bit about their own personal things, Elizabeth looked at the time.
"Well, I think I'm going to get some sleep, I'm a bit tired." Doctor Halliwell said.
"Ok, I'll see you in sickbay, you know when Lt. Summers used to work here I would say the exact same words, how odd" Maya grinned.
Liz nodded.
As she came in her new quarters she looked around again, she mumbled "Spacious" to herself and grinned.
After putting a photo of her parents and brother up on her desk she headed to her bed and went to sleep.
