Setting: USS HATHOR, Mei and Summers quarters
Susan sat on her bed and contemplated the task before her.
For about a minute.
Then everything went dark and suddenly she had a horrible feeling of seasickness followed very shortly by the horrid sensation of her head hitting the bunk above her. Instantly she regretted not being more assertive about her claim on the top bunk.
"Ouch!"
With stars in her eyes she bounced ungracefully down again, propelled by the upper bunk. Knowing it was not wise to allow herself to become a ping-pong between the bunks she dived out from between them while muttering, "thanks for the warning, captain."
She slammed into the opposite bulkhead and once again saw stars, "Note one: Ensign Mei should be restricted to areas with gravity."
Before her body had a chance to rebound and end up playing ping-pong with the bulkheads, Susan propelled herself upwards, where she nimbly bounced off the ceiling and… into the door. Which opened obediently. Unfortunately it was too late and Susan was already halfway across the room when gravity was once again restored and she found herself free-falling to the floor where she sat stunned for a minute before getting up and dusting herself off as if nothing had happened.
With no intention of giving up on the task she'd been set, she headed for the area where she expected to find the most people… but not without giving the door a serious glare.

When Susan arrived in the mess hall, the place was… just that. A mess. There were trays and pieces of food all over. It looked like someone had thrown a wild party. With a few klingons. As she surveyed the chaos before her, her eyes fell on Lea. Who was bright red.
Filled with concern, Susan picked her way hurriedly over the food-strewn floor.
"You alright?"
"Susan!" Lea said, sounding as if she'd just discovered hidden treasure as opposed to experiencing zero-gravity.
Taken slightly aback, the counselor stopped and stared at her friend, "Let me guess, you've discovered you have a knack for flying?". She was greatful Lea hadn't witnessed her own rather painful knack for flying...
The doctor laughed, "Oh, no… well yes… but…" she flushed, then seemed to notice the chaos she was standing in the middle of. "Oh dear. I guess there will be a few bruises to take care of?"
Susan nodded, thinking of her own pains and how she expected to be black and blue the next day. "I'll come do the rounds with you. Who knows who might be traumatized?"
Of course she had a hidden agenda… or hidden agendas. The one being the obvious desire to fulfill the request made of her by the captain, the other… the desire to find out just what Lea was so happy about.
