Stardate: 60344.0730
Setting: NEW ALEXANDRIA, Section C2, Level 1, Infirmary

It had been a rare occasion indeed… all three SCARAB-Class ships had been home at the same time, something that had only ever happened once since the ANUBIS had been brought into commission and sent on its first mission. What had been an even more momentous occasion had been that all three Level-5 field operatives had been in the same room… at the same time. What had been the real kicker was that Enaii actually knew nothing about the two women who stood next to her biobed looking down… at their sister.

"There is no reason for her to be like this," Elsie calmly announced in her beyond Vulcan tone, the woman having been genetically created to be unable to experience any type of emotions. Originally this had been thought to be a desired trait since emotions all too often got in the way of certain Intel objective. Vulcans had learned over the centuries to control and suppress their emotions, and it had been believed that this ability would come in handy. The complete inability to feel *anything* soon proved to have as many drawbacks as advantages leaving the genetically engineered woman to be unique.

"I know," Katie agreed as she leaned in closer to her unconscious sister, the flirtatious breath of the genetically engineered woman ever so gently caressing Enaii's cheek. It had been easy to see that the two women stood at the complete opposite of the emotional spectrum, Katie's all too visible emotions being in perfect contrast to the ice cold disposition of the sibling right next to her.

Contrary to her younger sister, Katie had developed an acute and complex emotional system which had lead her to find fulfilment in a wide variety of relationships the greater majority of which had not lasted for more than a few hours. Like the ILO of the HORUS, the Intel Operative stations on the SEKHMET had been placed in situations where their individual personality best suited the situation and permitted them to perform the missions given to them by Admiral Koniki with the greatest of ease.

"According to the profilers there is a 78% chance that there is some sort of undetectable brain damage causing this. If there is nothing wrong with her physically, they said that there is an 87% chance that this condition is caused by her not wanting to wake up… or was it a 87% chance of an undetectable brain damage and 78% chance of her not wanting to wake up? I can't remember. All they do is throw one set of number after the other… there is more to life than probabilities," the SEKHMET's ILO sighed with frustration at the overall situation while allowing the tips of her fingers to ever so gently caress the cheek of her unconscious sister.

"They do have their purpose," Elsie coldly commented appearing unaffected by the scene of her sisters, one lying on the bed as though she had been dead and the other hovering over her form like a lovesick child.

"Maybe so… but in this particular case I doubt that they have the slightest clue… saying that Enaii doesn't *want* to wake up just doesn't make sense. Why would she *want* to be like this? Of all of us she has the most to live for… she has a family… one that extends beyond the walls of Section 1," the clearly emotional of the two sisters let out, the zeal of her comments having fallen on deaf ears as her standing sibling could not share in this overwhelming passion.

"If she knew about us…" the unemotional woman began letting the remainder of her thoughts drift into silence. There would come a time when Enaii would be made aware of her full family heritage but now had neither been the time nor place… the only family the ANUBIS' ILO knew of had been her daughter and the woman that she had married. The sisters of the Draxx Project… all 26 of them… would one day be able to make their existence known but not yet.

=/\= We need you back down here, =/\= an oddly familiar voice said, the words and the way they had been said hinting that the person who had said them had been related to the three sisters in some way.

"It is better for us to go… the longer we stay here the more suspicious the others will become," the HORUS' ILO pointed out in perfect Vulcan logic and efficiency referring to the medical staff of the ANUBIS which they had locked out of the room for several hours now.

"We'll be back sweetie… and I promise that we'll get you back on you feet," Katie offered as he once again ran her fingers over Enaii's cheek while allowing a few tears to drop from her face and onto the biobed.
