"Lieutenant Fairborn," Ensign Mattias said as he returned onto the command deck of the mighty USS ANUBIS. "I have found nothing onboard the small craft to corroborate or refute the woman's claim that she is the Princess, Lady Adeja."
"According to the information we do possess on the royal family of
IRRAJ, the name she gave as well as her own physical description do both
support her claim," the ANUBIS' Avatar added from the Ops Station where Annie
had relocated after the small craft had been beamed into one of the cargo
holds of the SCARAB-Class cruiser.
"The gathered facts do seem to support her claim," the Oltharian giant
said thoughtfully as he allowed his lungs to empty in a single short burst.
"So why have we not contacted the Palace or even the Captain for that
matter?" the aCEO asked as he allowed his frustration and confusion to
take hold of him.
"To answer the second part of your question, Captain Rikar did request that we keep communications to one-way unless the situation dictates otherwise; therefore we are bound by her own orders to wait for her to contact us first," Elan explained before he paused for a few seconds as he glanced in the Avatar's direction. "In regards to your first point, the answer is because Lieutenant Pravat has ordered for us to wait for his return. My guess is that he wants to be absolutely certain as to the identity of the two Irrajians we found onboard the cloaked scout before we do anything else."
"There is a difference between being thorough and being obsessed,"
Mattias pointed out knowing that the Oltharian giant would not take offence to
the tone of implication of the statement made.
"Captain Rikar place Lieutenant Pravat in command during her absence
and that of the Executive Officer," Elan reminded the aCEO. "Therefore we
will do as told until we are contacted by Captain Rikar, Commander Serenna
or Commander Enaii who as ILO does have the authority to step in and take
charge in the absence of the CO and ExO."
"There is another option," Annie announced, the artificial woman having
sounded almost Human in the way she had spoken, clearly indicating
that she knew something that the other two men did not. Before either Elan or
Mattias could ask as to what this third option was, the Avatar transfered the communication that had just received to the bridge's main speakers.

vicinity; use extreme caution, Princess Adeja and companion suspected to be
aboard… =/\=
The voice of the ship's FCO and the message that it had brought were
greeted with mixed feelings which were clearly denoted by the aCEO's comments
which immediately followed. "He's a little late on the warning about the
cloaked ship, but on the other hand he did manage to confirm the woman's
identity."
"Someone should relay this message to Lieutenant Pravat," Annie stated
in an overly Vulcan logic sort of way.
"Ensign Norheim, please remain on the bridge while I go and speak to Lieutenant Pravat," the Oltharian reluctantly ordered before heading for the turbolift and the ANUBIS' Brig where the two passengers had been secured and where the Marine had been conducting his extensive interrogation efforts.
"Glad he's the one going," Mattias chuckled dryly. "The last time I
saw Lieutenant Pravat, he seemed ready to chew through neutronium."
"I am sure that Lieutenant Fairborn will be fine," Annie ever so calmly
stated not giving any hints as to the foundation for her statement
having been either because of the Oltharian's imposing size or because of the
general soothing effect the giant had on those around him.
