Elliot was a relieved to see Aki appear on the Bridge, because as far as he knew only himself and Aki knew they shared the same problem of Achluophobia.

He remembered the day well when they originally met at the first class of the *how to control and conquer you Achluophobia*.
"Awww! Man I'm running late again, how is it I always try to make my appointments and end up running late" Elliot said to himself while running down the street to get to his first Achluophobia class.
::What sort of impression am I going to make when I come in 5 mins late,:: Cadet Thomas thought to himself while jumping up 3 steps at a time to get to the front door of Olivia street where the *control and conquer* class was being held.
There was a loud bang, followed then by a crash and a ladies scream. Elliot found himself on the floor outside the front of 51st Olivia street, he had crashed into the door when someone else was trying to exit the building. The academy trainee clambered to his feet and opened the door gently this time.
"*Akira Mitshiba* isn't it?" Elliot asked in a startled voice.
Cadet Thomas had nowhere to hide this time, and he could not think of any other reason for being at this building other than why he was there, however a flush of relief came over him when he realised that Akira was also in the same building.
"*Elliot*," she said in a frightened voice.
Cadet Thomas fully understanding her reaction, acted quickly. "It's OK Akira, I have the same problem that is why I'm here also" he said positively in a soft and caring voice.
"*Nobody knows*," Cadet Mitshiba blurted out and continued "please don't mention you have seen me here" the now annoyed cadet said in a commanding voice.
"*AKIRA*, Elliot stated strongly, then continuing on more gently "your not thinking rationally. Think about what I have just said, I am here for the same reason."
Cadet Mitshiba stopped dead for a few seconds, as if someone had just stunned her with a phaser, and finally everything registered with her. "*Your* not going to tell are you." she said in a more relaxed tone.
"*Bingo*," blurted Cadet Thomas, who then hung his head in shame and continued quietly "Now your thinking straight, do you have some time later that we could get together and have a chat?" while checking his watch again to see exactly how late he was going to be for his first class.
"Well straight after class if that is OK, I came in and was about to leave again when we crossed paths, so what about we together after class finishes" Akira said with a smile appearing on her face.
"That's a date!" said Cadet Thomas who then blushed after realising what he had said, who's cheeks then seemed to get redder when he saw that Cadet Mitshiba was also blushing.

"ET are you OK?" Aki said to him with a concerned look.
"I am now if you know what I mean!" winking at Akira, making both of them smile.
Realising that Akira was fine Ensign Thomas decided to put his thoughts towards the idea of creating some kind of reverse dampening field, however the more he thought about the idea, the more convinced he was that there was no way of doing this. His conversation was then directed to the FCO.
"Ensign Stormwind Sir, I believe you mentioned something about generating a reverse dampening field, however without any power to work with I dont see any possibility in doing this? unless there is some logical theory I have not considered?" Elliot said disappointedly.
"I believe you are right Ensign but logic dictates that there is a reason for this power drain and if we can find the cause then we may just be able to do something that will allow us the privilage of working on the reverse dampening field to at least get life support up and running," the FCO said in his straight and monotone voice, as he passed Elliot to help more people out from between the powerless turbo lift doors.
Elliot approached the red haired lady and quietly asked "Captain with your permission may I stay on the bridge to assist with any plans that are brought forward to resolve the issues we are encountering at present?"
"I dont understand Ensign Thomas I thought you would want to join the search parties to find your children?" said the red haired woman questioningly.
"Well Captain Rikar, I believe the bridge would be the best place incase I am needed in an emergency, after all if power does return then I will need to run the standard algorithms on the enviornmental systems station, to get all enviromental conditions back to normal quickly." said Elliot anxiously, although he thought that he would leave that job to the marines as he would not be able to cope in the blackness for long periods of time.
"Agreed," said the CO. "I want a report on my desk each hour on the hour on how things are progressing, lets hope we get some news so that I can get the moral boosted, especially with the BLACK PANTHER's crew outside our ship!" she said in a definitive tone.
