Fishroom Blunders
While building a fishroom there will always be accidents even before water is an issue.

1.  During the process of building my fishroom tanks were lost by drilling for the bulkheads.

2.  Our Welder didn't quite understand the design of the the racks for the tanks.  He didn't have his notes and was unsure where one of the legs went, so he placed it in the middle.   The leg ended up being in front of the visual part of the tank.  YUCK!!

3.  Before plumbing the pvc we came to realize after securing the racks to the floor that it was too close to the wall.   Plumbing them together became a tight squeeze lol.  Lucky for us.  The welder volunteered to be the skinny guy :).

4.  A bulkhead fitting was fitted too tightly by the plumber in charge and cracked the glass in a bottom aquarium.  Thank-Goodness Silicone fixed it :).

5.  When the room was all done and the tanks were being filled, we realized that the ball valves on each tank needed siliconed or glued or the pressure would cause them to fly off rofl.

6.  Finally when we filled all the tanks it was time to turn everything on.  Plug in the heaters, plug in the Sweetwater blower and plug in the lights.  Gee Wiz now what!!!..

Not enough Juice to run the fishroom!!!

We had bought an Ebo-Jager Heater for every aquarium, but learned we could not use them all.  We could only use a third of them.  Money down the toilet!!!

The following day we learned The sump was not leak proof after puting a hole in it to hold a stand pipe.  Gee Wiz what next.

Well, today the fishroom works and everything is fine and dandy except.  I miss making things in my garage :(.

Time to move the fishroom :).

Good thing I like to stay busy rofl.
bad leg Cracked UP!!
If you look at the rack on the right there is a leg in front of some tanks :). Here you will see the cracked tank from too tight of a bulkhead fitting.
Leaky Hole
Tight Squeeze
Here is the standpipe that had a leak in its hole rofl.  This is after it was fixed.  Nice water!!! :)
Here you will see the tight squeeze behind the rack.  Good thing for Skinny Welders to help bigger plumbers :).
