Personality:	Chroma is a very stoic and emotionally detatched dragoness. In the past she was a part of an elite group of officers who battled against cyborterrorism on another planet. She chose to (temporarily) retire on a planet with as little technology as possible to get away from the stress and violence of her old job. She feels detached from the rest of the population of the weyr mostly because of their low level of technology. Chroma has a cyborbrain that can be used to communicate with others that also have cyborbrains, but those are few and far between, and her cyborbrain has made it virtually impossible to communicate with any kind of species that uses telepathy or empathy only. So she depends on the Tachikoma unit that followed her from her previous employment for companionship - though it's more annoying than anything else.

Personality:	Like the majory of Tachikoma units, Kinkaku has a very spirited, curious and optomistic personality. He loves to play, like a child would, and shows little to no fear in the face of any sort of danger. When Chroma announced that she would be leaving her unit, this Tachikoma (Chroma's personal unit) refused to let her go away on her own and swore he would continue follow her to act as a body guard and friend. This earned him his name, Kinkaku, which is "faithful service" in Chroma's native tongue. Upon their arrival, he was in awe of the many kinds of dragon species that occupied the weyr, so much so that he had himself altered by a cybornetics expert to vaguely resemble a dragon, prehensile tail included!
