Physical Description:	Being the leader of her pack, Val' is the biggest and strongest. She is a full three feet taller than both her minions, thickly muscled (but in a feminine way) and the most battle-scarred. She is also the oldest, noticeable by the small amount of gray that tinges the edges of her fur.
Personality:	The meanest, nastiest clawtongue to ever set foot on Pern, which really isn't saying much since Val and her minions are the only clawtonges to set foot on this part of Pern at least. She's still pretty malevolent in her attitude, frowning upon and/or killing and eating the weak and attempting to conquer the strong.

Name:	Xar'zith (drowish: "ice")

Physical Description:	He's slender and wiry, well suited for short sprints or speedy flights than long distance chases. Xar's fur is a pale, pale grayish-blue over the black skin of his relatively unscarred body.
Personality:	Even if Val' is the queen, Xar' is the brains of the pack. He's truer to the neutrality of clawtonges than his compatriots, he'd sooner run away from a fight to protect his own interests than stay and defend his friends. Val' keeps a wary eye on him, in case he decides to pull any funny stuff and abandon the pack.

Name:	Z'ress (drowish: "strength")

Physical Description:	Z'ress is by no means femininely muscled. She's bulkier than both of her packmates, but also shorter. Her fur is a brilliant purplish-blue, completely eradicating any chance for stealth. Not like she could have been stealthy anyway, she has all the subtlety of a tank when moving around.
Personality:	Z'ress is the brawn of the pack, she has no other ability. Her level of intelligence is somewhere between rock and small vertabrate. Maybe that's exaggerating a little, but she still definately isn't the sharpest spoon in the drawer. All one has to do is set a task out for her - in small, simple words - what to do and she won't rest until said task is completed. You have to give her a gold star for effort and tenacity.
