| Thursday 1st School again. After school I had two lots of Japanese Calligraphy lessons again. I am Improving thatfs for sure if you see one of the ones I did when I first arrived and ones from now there is a huge difference. Friday 2nd Today school I like Fridays at school because I have Art it makes the day go much faster. After school I went to kyudo and then I meet Ruji and Deonne at the station and we had tea together. After tea we went back to Rujifs house and had fun we had to be a little quite though because there are two tiny babies at her host house. It was a great night. Saturday 3rd Today I went bike ridding with Ruji. We rode around for a while and then she took me to see her school after seeing her school we went back to my host house for a while. Sunday 4th Today my host family took me into Tokyo to get a package my parents sent me. After getting the package, which I was really happy to get. We went through a long underwater tunnel through Tokyo bay. Then we went on a huge Farce Wheel. Near by the huge Farce Wheel there was a TV station place called Fuji TV that we went and had a look it was huge and very crowded but was also interesting. On the way home we had tea at a nice restaurant and then went home. It was a great day. Monday 5th No school today itfs a public holiday. Today I went shopping with my host mum and sisters at a new shopping center that has just opened it was very nice. We looked at some other shops and then we went home. Tuesday 6th Back to school today it went really fast. We had some sort of assembly, double coking and dance which made it go fast. After school I had Calligraphy and I am really getting the hang of it. Wednesday 7th Wednesdays at school are the most boring. All my friends think so too. After school I had Rotary, it was a good night they made both Deonne and me get up and do short speeches. My speech went better than it did last time. Thursday 8th Another fast day, today I had PE and we had to run 1km it surprised me that everyone actually ran the whole way that wouldnft happen at my school in Australia. After school I had two lots of Japanese Calligraphy but today I just couldnft write like I normally do. Friday 9th Today at school everyone had tests. I sort of did the English test well really I just looked through the test sheet (it was hard stuff). After that I had a private lesson with a Japanese teacher it was good after that I had another Japanese lesson with the assistant English teacher Shanon. After school I went to kyudo practice I am still stuck using the rubber band but the first years are doing the same and they do it every night after school, hopefully I donft have to practice with the rubber band too much longer. Saturday 10th Today Deonne came to my host house and we did Japanese Calligraphy together. It was heaps of fun. We are both good at different parts of it. Deonne is good at the small writing and Ifm good at the big writing. We listened to music and did Japanese Calligraphy nearly the whole day. It was great we would both like to do it again sometime but Deonne leaves on the 20th of June so I donft know if we will have time. Sunday 11th MOTHER DAY Today when I got up I wished my host mum a happy mothers day and gave her a small present. She was thrilled. Today I went to a free Japanese class thatfs not to far away from my host house. I thought it was quite good. I went with Deonne this week, if Deonne or Ruji are going next week and Ifm not doing anything Ifll go too. After I went back to Deonnefs host house and watch a video called saranjepruty (sorry I have no idea how to spell it) It has a good move I liked watching a movie in English for a change. Then we went to a Friend of Deonnefs host mum house to have a little party, we picked up Ruji on the way. Were we went we meet 5 girls Japanese girls all about 19 they were very lovely so we had lots of fun together. Monday 12th Back to school, it was another fast day. After school I went for a little walk and had a Milkshake with some of my school friends and then I went to Rujifs house for a while it was great. Tuesday 13th School went even faster today. I think the school days are just getting faster and faster. After school I went to Kyudo (practicing with the elastic band still). Wednesday 14th Today school was OK not as good as yesterday but good for a Wednesday when I donft understand any of the subjects. I studied a lot of Japanese today. After school I had a Japanese lesson with Shannon the assistant English teacher, it went well. Thursday 15th Just another ordinary day of school. After school I decided to go home, then I went to the temple again to do Japanese calligraphy. Friday 16th School always goes really fast on Fridayfs because I have double Art. Today there was a two hour assembly at the end of school it was ok though because everyone just sat and talked (wow what a surprise in Japan) Saturday 17th Today I spent the day with Deonne and Ruji we went shopping and then we went to karaoke for two hours, which was heaps of fun. Once we had finished we went to Deonnefs house and watched two videos emothmanf and eevolutionf they were both great movies. |
