About Me
Geocities will be closing later this year, so I have created a new personal site at www.djtyrer.web.officelive.com and a new Atlantean Publishing website at www.atlanteanpublishing.officelive.com So, you would like to learn about me? I attended Aberystwyth University in Wales, where I studied History and Welsh History, along with a little politics and Welsh language. Not unsurprisingly, my hobbies include reading and writing, as well as politics, philosophy, religion, history and languages. To while away my copious spare time (about one minute a week away from the magazines!) I indulge in roleplaying, wargaming and boardgaming. (It may again come as no surprise to learn that I have written my own roleplaying and wargaming rules, some of which have been published.) My favourite authors include Harry Turtledove, JK Rowling, Jill Murphy, Michael Moorcock, JRR Tolkien and Terry Pratchett, amongst many others (I am definitely a bibliophile!). Film and TV wise my tastes are equally Catholic with Doctor Who, Simpsons and Time Commanders amongst my favourite TV series and The Lost Boys, the Scream trilogy and the Star Wars films amongst my favourite films.
