We usually meet about once a week at my home, exact days and times vary due to members' shifts - if you want to join the group please let me know when you are available and we will do our best to fit you in. As members have conflicting schedules and live in different areas of Southend, we are willing to consider running more than one game at different times or in different places.

Games We Play : We are both roleplayers and wargamers, although time and space dictate mostly the former at the moment! Currently we mainly use my own generic set of rules (in a variety of settings) but we have played others including Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun and Old World of Darkness, amongst others.
Wargames are mostly Warhammer Ancient Battles and Warhammer 40,000, although I have written my own Fantasy rules to use with WAB and have written other rulesets. I am keen to find players interested in Napoleonics and smaller modern/future scales (1:72 and 6mm). We love gaming and are happy to consider most eras and rules if anyone new has a favourite.
DJ Tyrer is a rather prolific gamesdesigner, constantly writing new rules and settings. He has had articles published in Wargames Illustrated, Miniature Wargames and Valkyrie (the latter including his complete roleplaying game of 'diabolical Darwinism', First Spawn - currently optioned by Degeneration Games). He is always available to write articles, rules or reviews.
