I enjoy creating and reading what in science fiction fandom are called "filks". These are reworkings of more or less well-known songs (or sometimes poems). The words are changed to reflect a different theme or content, but the meter and rhyme scheme are left unaltered. Whenever possible, key words from the original are left unaltered, or only slightly altered, so as to suggest the original.
Here are a number of spanking filks. Some are based on musical comedies, some on other popular music, some on folk-tunes. In all I attempted to stay as close to the original meter and rhyme scheme as possible.
