The Little White Voo-Doo

The scent of fresh cut grass
A cool gentle morning breeze
Not a cloud in the sky
And the water holes look like seas

Stepping up on the first tee
Shaking hands, being polite
Teeing up and gripping the Big Dog
Anxious to hit it out of sight

You prepare your soul
By taking your stance at the ball
A smooth backswing and then...
Blasting through it all

The power and force is felt
After crushing the little white voo-doo
The high leaves you only one thought
A great day is upon you

Darkness Falls

Darkness falls on the global mass
The black and white begin to dim
Kings and Queens have power no more
And the castle is appearing grim

The court is completely cleared
The clergyman have no one to prey
And the knights rest their steeds
Because, Chess is over for the day

Live on a WebCam

We enter your room each day
Visiting you every night
You know not when we are there
Always remaining out of sight

We are the faceless angels
Spying and hovering over you
Checking in on your life
Watching everything that you do

Concerned about your emotions
Hoping that you are O.K.
Without being live on a WebCam
This would all just go away

Sunsets Forever

Sunsets come and go
But the blaze of the Black Hills
Remains forever

The Hardwood

Colorful lines
Glossy hardwood floors
Squeaking of hi-tech shoes
Fiber glass backboard
Woven nylon net
Cold steel breakaway rim
Light filled scoreboard
Leather scented ball in hand

The greatest game...
Is played on The Hardwood

Atmospheric Anonymity

Soaring through an aerial tundra
Nestling in for a nimbus nirvana
Awing is the fissure of enigmatic proportions
Colossal are the cloud chasms and contortions

Winging through the cotton candy catacombs
Cascading while the cumulus canyon roams
Reaching the milky ceiling of cirrus serenity
Enlightened is the engulfing atmospheric anonymity

Shadows of The Nightshade

We will come creeping within the night;
we are the before and after light.
Only in pitch black can we possibly fade,
because we are the stirring shadows of the nightshade.

Know that the shadows lurking in the dark
are just the expressions from your own psychic mark,
that the bitter sweet whispers and sights in your dreams
are your own soul's thoughts and frightening scenes.

So don't be afraid of the horror you see;
it can be a good thing if you want it to be.
It is your outlook on life that walks the twisted path
and your heart that fights in the aftermath.

We will come creeping within the night;
we are the before and after light.
Only in pitch black can we possibly fade,
because we are the stirring shadows of the nightshade.

As One

Two Bengal Tigers
Pass each other in the night
One displays peace
While the other strength and might

A show of force
And sovereignty on high
This feline denies
The occasion to compromise

An ambiance of confidence
With time to share
For this tiger a lost union
Fashions absolute despair

Separate
They have something to prove
But Together
They could simply move
As One

The Lore of Before

To reign the ruins
Of a castle no more
Stone by stone
The lore of before

Malicious men
No courage, no valor
Siezed the land
And stormed the tower

Once a place of peace
And love of seed
Abolished by those
Who breathe in greed

Nothing yet lived
When war was done
The souls were lost
By those who won

Watching the Watchmaker

Arriving,

unlocking, entering, opening, brightening, setting, eyeing,
magnifying, focussing, honing, gearing, springing, pinging,
setting, screwing, twisting, tinkering, timing, fixing,
facing, winding, ticking, clicking, engraving, crafting,
admiring, standing, dimming, closing, leaving, locking,

Departing

The Hustler's Challenge

This is not a game, so take this in stride
When you grab your cue, it's a matter of pride
These players got bank and plan when they chalk
Once in this venue, only the money should talk

You must play on the cloth, all styles, all types
It's not only about the solids and stripes
You got your nine-ball, banks, golf, and rotation
Snooker, one-pocket, and straight pool elation

While their game is sharp and safe play strong
Your trip to the table, won't last too long
Fouling anytime, is certain suicide
Their cue ball control is intensified

With a stroke of genius and a bridge of stone
The Hustlers' best play is being 'The Unknown'
There's yet to be created, a shot they can't make
Jump-bank, carom-kick, or masse' the break

They play from the heart and shoot with their mind
For when their turn comes, they're the run-out kind
So when you think, you have the eye, touch, and stroke
Play a true Hustler and prepare to leave broke

Rack em'
