Welcome! 3-D Art Gallery!

3-D Ribbon Bar

Below you will find a few pictures from my very own collection of 3-d postcards. The first three images I found on a website for free to use only on personal webpages. I have been collecting 3-d books for about a year now. Before looking at these pictures, I want to tell you a few things about stereograms and my own personal experience on ways to best view 3-d pictures. To some they call this a magic eye, but with a little practice anyone can view 3-d pictures.
When viewed properly, 3-d art can spring to mind many pleasant surprises. Remember to relax (both the mind and eye) and have patience. Here are several ways to view the prints.
View at eye level. Stand at a medium distance from the image (2 to 4 fl.). Concentrate on your reflection or the reflection of light on the image. Stare THROUGH the picture as if you were looking at something a distance BEHIND the image. Keep focused on one area of the image. CONTINUE STARING as the image will appear. When the pattern begins to move or shift, the image is about to appear. When you start to see an image come into focus, keep staring through it. Good Luck!!
