Elaine and I have been
friends since 1977. Although we are not related, we are as close as any two sisters can
be. I have always felt close to her and her whole family. Elaine gave me a gift I will
always cherish. She knew my husband and I couldn't have any children, so she has shared
her three children with me. I could not love them anymore than if they were my own.

As the years went by, with the kids growing we
never lost contact. As adults now, with children of their own we still get together when
possible. Both Dave and Tony were married on an Island in the Carribean. Unfortunately I
missed both their weddings, but attended Kerry's.
