Speaking Bicol
Famous words and phrases

Jennette was assigned to list down anyone who speaks Bicol. The fine is 25 cents per word. In order to survive, the class did speak English. But sometimes we speak English so differently that not even a native of England could understand.

  • You're very very!
  • What's the funny there?
  • I have you're-breast-is-SAGING! Do you want?
  • Hey, you're TAPUKING the plants. Mrs. Gianan will get angry.
  • I know the blank of blank, but i will not tell. hihihi...
  • Do you have one-fourth? (one-fourth sheet of paper)
  • Yes, it's really true. Wanna POST?
  • Who's talking to you? I'm not talking to you!
  • ADIDAS! (short for I didn't ask)

    Program-Program
What we do in our spare time

Jennette (as emcee): Good morning, classmates. The first number in aner program...
somebody from the class: anong aner?!
Jennette: ay! our! The first number in our program is a song to be led by Allan Jay...
Allan Jay: Classmates let's sing shoo fly. Take this pitch... shoo fly don't bother me. Ready, sing!
Class: Shoo fly, don't bother me... Shoo fly, don't bother me.. Shoo fly, don't bother me.. For I belong to somebody. I do, I do, I do.. and I will not tell you who.. for I belong to somebody.. yes, indeed I do.. I do!
Jennette: The next number in aner.. ay, our program is a poem by Patrick.
Patrick: Money. Money is a friend and a foe, as you would want it to do for you. Think wisely before you buy. Things not needed will just go by. Wise buying is what you need today. Wise spending will drive hunger away.
Jennette: The next number in an.. our program is a poem by Gerlie.
Gerlie: God's Gift. God's grace are all around us. In the air, we freely breathe. In the sea that teems with fishes. In the sky with soaring birds. God showered us with beautiful things. Butterly with multi-colored wings..
Jennette: The next number in a.. our program is a song by Jimbo, Dexter, Frans and Guariño.
Jimbo, Dexter, Frans and Guariño: Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream...
          Jimbo: ...merrily..
          Dexter: ...merrily..
          Frans: ...merrily..
          Guariño: ...merrily..
All: ...life is but a dream.
Jennette: The next number... is a declamation by Mylene.
Mylene: Oh captain, my captain. Oh captain, my captain...
Jennette: The next number in our program is a poem by Chelo.
Chelo: Tree.. by Joyce Kilmer. I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree; a tree whose hungry mouth is pressed against the sweet earth's flowing breast; a tree that looks at God all day and lifts her leafy arms to pray; a tree that may in summer wear a nest of robins in her hair; upon whose bossom snow has lain who intimately live with rain; poems are made by fools like me; but only God can make a tree.
Jennette: The next number is a song by Wilson.
Wilson: Ehem.. Why are there so many.. tales about rainbow..

Mrs. Vistal: Okay class, go to your own seats. What was the lesson yesterday?.... Yes. Layah?

    Quotable Quotes
    Famous lines of famous people

Why are you treating me like an animal?! I am not an animal! I'm not a cat, a dog...!!
    - Franchette to her offender (lucky are those who remember who this is) during their argument that started with Rosas de Alas Dies

    Very noissssyyyyy!!!
    - Franchette shouting to the whole class when they're noisy.

My puppy died! huhuhu... He's really so cute. I love that puppy so much. He likes to eat paksiw. huhuhu...
    - Mylene upon arrival to the classroom, in between sobs.

    Anong tinitingin-tingin mo dyan?! Ha?!
    - Allan Jay when he catches someone looking at him after he's been scolded by a teacher.
(Kaya, never, oh never, look at him during this moment of grief.)

Hindi pwede! Magasgasan pa yan. Di baleng magasgasan ka, basta wag lang ang bisekleta ko.
    - Allan Jay to someone who's trying to borrow his bike.
(So don't touch that freakin' bike, ok?)

    Sige na, para lamang.
    - Guariño when he's asking someone a favor.

    Funny Incidents
    And some embarassing ones!

While dancing "Wild Wild West", Ching almost dropped her skirt because of a loose hook-and-I. As if trying to stay unnoticed, she managed to dance while holding her skirt. But, since the dance uses both hands and now in an upward motion, she decided to stop and went downstage. Sayang, sya pa naman ang choreographer. (Whew!) Worse is, a lower grader innocently asked her, "maluwag?"

While playing chinese garter on the lawn, Jennette was getting ready to make a cart-wheel to reach the head-level. Then... woops! what was that?! Kang nagtambling sya nahiling su panty!

In Grade 4, each of us was assigned to take care of a one rose plant among those surrounding the lawn. Leah's plant had a beautiful flower. Ung gayon ning burak, red na red pati. One morning, igua na ning udo ning karbao sa rose ni Leah! Fresh pa buda mismong sa tahaw ning plant. Bagi ugud na chocolate cake na igua ning red rose sa tahaw.
