Howl Girl Catch
(mp3) Credits: Francis Albert Machine. A fascinating track here, Frankie Machine weave soundscapes with acoustic guitars which have previously been attempted with the all encompasing synth-wash. Email Cordelia@stayfree.co.uk. Alan, of Yeah Yeah Noh, Deep Freeze Mice,
Chrysanthemums, the Creams, and lots of other really good bands too numerous
to mention, has here a very original instrumental that is also quite cheerful
and has some surprising bits in it too. Surf-tastic, as the surf guitar
kids probably say.

Shark
Fishing in America (mp3)(First mix) Credits: Fish Protein Vindaloo
This song is about having your leg bitten off by a shark. There are not
many people kind enough to offer such varied song subjects as this Epic
(albeit 1 minute) Document depicting the tense time you have when a bloody
big shark swims after you and has your leg off.

Frisco
DiscoOn the Dancefloor, we are all united as one. It doesnt matter
if you're black or white, you can get down to the music of Voon, played
on a Frisco Disco, a battery powered plastic record player that was made
for kids in the 1980s that came with headphones, which is what DJs might
use in San Francisco. Probably. Credits(alphabetical): Brown, Hibbett and

Welcome
to the bottom of the page. More info on .mp3 and .ra as promised::
.mp3:
Once you've installed some sort of mp3 player, On modern properly set up
browsers: Click on a song title and it ought to make a sound. With older
browsers: Once you've clicked on a song, you might get a page of gibberish.
This is good gibberish. Go to the file menu in the top left hand corner,
do save, and it'll bung the gibberish to your local drive as an mp3 file.
.ra:
Less stuff as realaudio just now, whilst you can use more compression,
the quality suffers, but it's OK for less 'busy' tracks. You might find
with a slow link or on a busy network that realaudio can echo - what you
want to do is set the 'options' bit so that the buffer is as long as can
be. RealAudio is a bit heavy on the processor for older computers, so if
you're trying to compute something and you hear glitches, stop doing it
and enjoy the music instead.
