Fae, the elven Keeper and Guardian of the Forest, raises her arms above her head slowly, closing her eyes for conecntration. After a few moments, she begins to mutter under her breath. The words are soft, and they slip over your ears. It is as if you are hearing them from under a veil of water. You think that if you could hear them, it wouldn't matter, becuase you could never understand them.
As Fae chants, a small pin prick of light appears before her. With each word Fae speaks, the dot of light grows, and grows untill it becomes the size and shape of a large door.
The elf's words become stronger and the glowing door way dissapears. You frown, but say nothing, for Fae is still chanting. The space where the light had been suddenly begins to waver. It trembles and shimmers as if a great heat was rising out of the ground causing marages.
You gasp and take a step back when the shimmering air begins to melt. The air drips and oozes down to the ground where it dissapears. With each drop of air that melts, the background comes with it. It is as if Fae is melting a hole through reality itself.
"Exactly." Fae says, turning to you. You let out a small gasp, not realizing she had finished. You hadn't realized that you had spoken aloud. Or had you... You shrug, dismissing the notion. Fae ushers you through the large hole in the air. You hurry though, with the elf on your heals. Once through, you look around, taking in your new surroundings.
You are now is a huge meadow. The meadow stretches out as far as the eye can see in two directions. In the other two directions a large forest ends the meadows progress. You are not very close to the forest, so the trees are an indistince blur.
The meadow is very beautiful. Tall, lush dark green grass covers every inch of the ground. A cool breeze dances over the grass, kissing your face and stroking your hair. The sun overhead warms you, but it doesn't make you hot. You close your eyes and breathe in deeply through your nose. The air is fresh and clean smelling, and you savor it. After taking in all your surrounds and the pleasure they offer, you turn to fae, and ask where you are.
"Well, this is the home of a very speical creature. A Pah'llock." You tilt your head to the side, then ask what a Pah'llock is. "A very speical species of equines. They come in all sizes and colors. After a disaster with some stolen Pah'llocks, Deborah, the leader of the Forest, contacted Darkhorse, the real owner of the Pah'llocks. After explaining what had happened, Darkhorse kindly agreed to allow her to foster a Pah'llock." The elf smiles at you. "I will let you go visit his on your own. I am sure he will gladly tell you about himself and whatever else you wish to know." You thank Fae, who smiles and steps back though the gateway, leaving you alone.
You turn to the great expance of meadow with no forest at the end, and start walking. The ground is slightly slopped or high in some places, so that it rises and falls in spread out minture hills. The walk isn't hard, and you find yourself enjoying it. After a bit of walking, you walk over a small hill, and spot a brown figure a bit aways.
You increase your pace, eager to met the equine. The Pah'llock looks up from his grazing, and when he sees you, he begins to walk twords you. When you get close, he stops a respectful distance away, watching you. Now that he is up close, you can admire him.
His body is brown. A white blaze creeps up from his pink nose to beween his ears. His legs all have white stockings on them. His hoves are a bright golden color. His main is a beautiful golden color. His tail is short, with none of the golden hair like his main. His horns are a darker brown than his body. His eyes are a bright green color. He is an amazingly beautiful creature.
After a few moments when you don't say anything, he comes forward a few paces, and to your great suprise says:
"!nisrop. Yain p'va !fin Ceras'tzm." You open your mouth, but nothing comes out. You are totally awestruck, and you have no idea what the Pah'llock is saying. When you stare at him, saying nothing, he smiles. "Ah, you don't speak Allorian." You shake your head. "Sorry, I always forget that you humans don't normally speak my native tounge. What I was saying was 'Hello. My name is Ceras'tzm.' My name means star shine in Allorian." You tell Ceras'tzm how hansome he is, and how beautiful his name is. He lowers his head modestly. "Thank you, k’zarti." At your blank look he says: "Travler." You nod, understanding now.
Ceras'tzm moves forward, now that introductions are done, and lets you scratch his forhead. After a few scratches, he sighs with pleasure and moves away.
"Thank you, that always feels nice." You ask him about himself. "Well, I am from Tir'na'bainne'gile'lair, or in your tounge: Land of the Milk White Mare. I was abandoned, and Deborah refostered me." You ask if he has a mate. He shakes his head. "No, I have no teru. Though, I am hopfully that Deborah will foster a second Pah'llock. Stallion or mare, I would enjoy company." You smile up at the beautiful Pah'llock, and then tell him that you must be going. He smiles and nods. "Please come and visit me again. I enjoy the company." You promise to, and then hurry on your way...
