| You walk through the shimmering gateway, which Fae holds open for you. Fae, the elven Keeper and Guardian of the Forest, follows you through the gateway. Once you are both through, Fae turns to you, and smiles before speaking. "Welcome," she says fanning her hand out at the surround area. "To the Sahvanna Forest." You turn and take in your surroundings. You are amazed to find yourself in the heart of a forest. The gateway had taken you from a field to a forest in the blink of an eye. The forest you stand in seems full of life. Birds call out to each other through the trees. Their songs and calls fill the air with soft sounds. You can see other little creature in the trees and on the ground as well. A soft breeze blows through the trees from above, stiring the leaves about, making the light on the floor dance and shift. The floor of the forest is covered in a thick, soft grass. A few flowers grow about the bases of the trees. Over all, the forest is beautiful. You turn back to Fae when you have finished admiring the natural beauty of the forest. "Now, if you just follow the path down that way," she points behind you to a hardly visable path. "It will take you to the center of the forest, and the dragons home. You will meet the Keeper and the dragon there. They can tell you whatever you want to know. Good luck." With that, the elvin Keeper walks through the gateway, which closes as soon as she is through. You start down the path, letting it weave you in and out of the tall trees. Soon, the trail comes to an end. You look around, wondering if you are in the right place. The trees in front of you seem to move. You gasp, and stumble backwards as a large shape appears before you. A small figure stands off to one side. The smaller one comes out first, and you recognize her as an elf. The big thing follows her. A dragon. The dragon moves forward twords you and bows its head. "I am terribly sorry. I did not mean to startle you. It was not my intention, really." The male looks at you with bright green eyes. His body and wings are a dark green color. His muzzle, legs, underbelly and horns are a dark greenish-black. Over all, he is the most encredable creature you have ever seen. "My name is Yuki, and this is my friend, Elan." The elf moves out of the shadows of the trees to where you can see her. "Hello." She says a little sheepishly. Yuki turns back to you. "I am a custom colored dragon from Sapphire Dreams. My bondmate, Deborah, won me for having the best page out of five. I am an Elfish color. One of a kind." You say how beautiful you think he is and Yuki smiles. "Thank you. Everyone tells me so. I don't really think so, though." You thank Yuki for allowing you to see him and his home. He nods graciously, and you turn back down the path... |
