Rei, Keeper and guardian of the dragon while it's bondmate is gone.
Fae opens a large gateway, and lets you through, closing the hole in the air behind you. You find yourself in a dark and gloomy forest. The trees hang limply, their claw-like branches reaching out twords you. A small, ragged path laws before you, leading straight into the heart of the woods. You hesatate to enter, fear creaping up your spine. Firming your resolve, you stride into the hostile forest, and down the path.
As you are walking, you see a glint of movement off to your left. You take a quick look, and find nothing. You tell yourself it was just a trick of the light and shadows, and hurry along. Once again, you see the flash of colors, and this time, you are sure it wasn't the light or shadows.
You begin to walk faster, hoping that whatever is following you will loose intrest. You look back over you sholder, trying to catch a glimps of the thing. When you look forward again, a dark figure is standing in your path. Your breath catches in your throat, keeping you from crying out. Your feet seem to be frozen in place, your eyes locked on to the figure.
The dark shadow moves closer twords you. As it moves, the thing steps into a small patch of moonlight. As the moonlight illuminates the figure, you realize that it is a male elf, tall and dark. His long dark hair blows over his shoulders, brushing against his red, brown, and tan clothing. His eyes are a strange shade of gold.
In one hand he holds a wicked looking cresent moon blade mounted on a long dark pole with a steel tip on the end of it. He lowers the blade untill it is pointing at your chest. The way he handles it shows you that he knows how to use it.
"Who are you?" he says in a deep voice. You state your name, and that you are here to see the dragon. "I don't let anyone just walk up and see our dragon." You tell him that Fae brought you here through a gateway. He relaxes, and draws the cresent weapon up and away from your chest. "I am sorry. I didn't know that Fae let you in. I apoligize." He says with a small bow. You nod, accepting his apoligy. "My name is Rai. I am an elf from the land of Chibi Ningyo. Deborah, the dragon's bondmate, asked me to be it's guardian." You ask what type of dragon is living here.
"A very special dragon from Xian Dragons. The dragon is a ghost. It's name is Desert-Rose." It's? You ask Rei. "Yes." He responds with a nod. "In life, Desert-Rose was a yellow female, but because her owner neglected her, she died, and then came back as a ghost. Most dragons are able to handle being abandoned and then are able to rebond to someone else with hardly any problem. But when a dragon reaches the adult stage and the owner abandons him or her, the dragon will pine away, and then change into a ghost. The ghost dragons are all neutral, and have no wings. Desert-Rose hardly ever gets visitors. Would you like to meet Desert-Rose?" You nod, and then follow the dark figure down the path.
After a few minuets of walking, you come upon a small clearing in the trees. In the center of the clearing is a large adult dragon. It stands out against the dark trees, pale grey and white colors. Sitting in between it's paws rests a tiny little grey thing. The little creatures reminds you of a miniture dragon. The dragon turns it's dark eyes upon you.
"Welcome human." It says in a voice like the whisper of the wind. "Here to see me and my home?" You nod, your hands trembling. "You need not fear me. I will not harm you. I am glad that you came. I rarly have visitors." You nod, your eyes flowing down the lith form to rest on the little grey thing. Desert-Rose follows your eyes, and then smiles. "This," she says, holding up the sleeping form in one large paw, "Is Remi. She is my Glideran companion." You comment on how tiny she is. "Yes, but she shall grow with each passing day, untill she reaches her adult stage." Desert-Rose places Remi back on the ground where the little Gilderan curls up, sighing happly. "Here, little human," Desert-Rose says after placing her Remi on the groun. "I will show you my home..."
