Fae turns and raises her arms slowly. The air in front of her shimmers, then gives way to reveal a forest. You gape at the shimmering hole. Fae takes your arm gently and leads you through.
"This is where the dragon lives," Fae informs you, "I use my magic and elven skills to keep this place safe. The dragon that lives here is named Skysong. He is a green and a male. He is full grown! Since we have been blessed with the gift of a dragon, it is my job to care for him till he can fend for himself. And I think that he can do that quite well now that he is so much older. Now he can defend me!" Fae says laughing. "This forest has fields to run in, rivers and lakes to swim in, mountains to climb and fly from, cliffs to soar from, and tons of trees to play in. It even has a castle. The castle has many toys and rooms. It has tall towers to practice flying from and even has a small treasure to guard. Shall I show you around?" You nod and follow Fae as she leads you deeper into the forest. Soon you come to a clearing, but you find not one dragon, but two! A green and a purple. The two dragons are sitting together, and seem to be cuddling.
"The green one is Skysong," Fae says with pride, "and the purple one is Kami. Deborah's best friend Desiree also recived a dragon around the same time as we did, so it seemed natural to introduce the two. They really hit it off, and visited each other almost every day. Now that they both have grown up, they have become mates! Deborah and Desiree are very excited, and so happy for the two. I have been wondering if the two will decide to have a clutch..." Fae giggles.
Just then, Skysong notices you for the first time. The green licks his licks while staring at you.
"Hi Fae," he says without taking his eyes off of you. "Great! Dinner! I'm starving!!" the dragon says perkily.
"I don't think that is your dinner Skysong. Would your dinner come along willingly to be eaten?" Kami says wisley.
"Oh, good point," Skysong says. He looks crestfallen.
Fae laughs at the not-so-little green dragon and says, "Your right Kami. This is a human. You should recongise humans Skysong; Deborah comes to visit you two or three times a day. This human is here to visit you too."
"Oh! Hello human. My name is Skysong, and this is my beloved mate, Kami," the dragon says looing to Kami. You notice that his eyes are filled with a look of pure love.
"Actually, Skysong, I think that I will be going now. Desiree and Isis will be waiting for me," Skysong's bright eyes sadden a little. "But, would you like to come to my house tomorow?" Kami askes hopfully.
"Yeah!! That would be so fun! Ok! I will see you tomorow then!" Skysong says with excitment in his bright green eyes. Kami gives him a quick kiss on the cheek, while Fae opens another gateway. He watches Kami with a look of pure adorment, till she dissipears into the big hole in the air. He watches the spot, as if hoping she will return.
Fae giggles, "Skysong and Kami are so in love. It is really quite cute." Fae leans in closer to you, "And a while ago, they had their first clutch. We were aloud to keep one of the eggs, and his name is Raiden, a cerilan blue air dragon. "And, not too long ago, Skysong was accepted by the Elder dragons to recieve training for a breathweapon. He chose Emerald Purity, which has the power to heal. He is officall a level one good shaman!"
"So, if thats not my dinner, then what is? I'm hungry!" Skysong says, turning to you.
Fae laughs and then says to you, "Skysong is always hungry, just like a dragon should be, but Skysong takes it to another level!" she says laughing, then she turns to Skysong, "We will get you something to eat, but first, wouldn't you like to show your guest around the forest?" Fae suggests.
"Alright! Lets go! I will show you everything!" Skysong shouts happly and races forward, his huge wings beating up the ground. |
