| Holly leads you into another section of the woods, and then into a large clearing. As you enter, you are stuned by the decorations of the large clearing. All around you are Valentines decorations. Red and pink rose bushes dot the edge of the clearing. You stand at the entrence of the clearing, amazed by all of the decorations. "This is where Suki, the valentine's day dragon, lives. She is a limited edition dragon from Xian dragons." Holly turns back the way she came, looking over her black sholder. "After you meet Suki, just come back out to the clearing, or you can go back to the Forest, ok?" You nod to the cat, and turn back to the clearing. You move into the clearing, admiring the decorations. You freeze in your tracks. Standing a little ways into the clearing is a full grown dragon. She is a dark shade of pink. Her underbelly, horns, and face are a clean white. Her lith body is covered in bright pink stripes. In the center of her white forhead is a large pink triangle. She turns her black eyes upon you, and she smiles. "Hello. My name is Suki. I am the guardian of Valentines." She gestures with a claw tipped paw, "Wecome to my home. This is where I stay when I am not guardian my holiday." You smile at her, and tell the pretty dragon that you love her home. The dragon's smile grows. "Thank you! I decorated it myself." She pauses, looking around her, and then looks back at you. "Would you like to hear the story of how Valentines was started?" You nod eagerly, and then follow Suki to the center of the clearing. The big dragon sits down, tucking her paws under her. You sit across from her polietly. "A very long time ago, in the land of Greece, the emperor had decied that if he forbid his soldiers to marry, then they would be even more powerful. A man named Valentine thought this a horible idea, and began to marry the soldiers and their sweethearts in secret. Unfortunately, he was discovered, and locked in jail. In this prision, he met a young girl who fed and did other nice little things for the prisoners, and Valentine fell in love with her. And that is how my day was started." You applaud the dragon, and she smiles sheepishly. "I am glad that you liked it." She looks away, as if sad, then turns back. "I hardly get any visitors, so I thank you for coming. I hope you will vist me again..." Suki trails off, waiting for your answer. You assure her that you will. |
