Palm Crescent
Palm Crescent is a daytime soap opera-style RPG hosted in the This Day and Ages Gone section of Dreamlyrics.
For Palm Crescent, I've given an old favorite character a facelift, bringing him into a new century and giving him new needs and ambitions. Alain Gayle began as Alain Devereaux, first in a game on Compuserve and later on Dreamlyrics. You can read about the original incarnation here. The first Alain was a courtesan; his decendant was a street hustler until he got swept up in the whirlwind of a movie-studio town.

Taken off the streets by a glamorous Frenchman, Alain took acting classes, entered a television contest on a whim, and ended up winning the right to star in his own movie. His career since has been unstoppable, helped by his bold declaration that he was gay during his Oscar acceptance speech. Now he suddenly has to deal with a life he was never prepared for, and keeping secrets that he never realized he would need to keep....

(This is actually Taylor Kitsch, wonderful actor from the utterly wonderful NBC show Friday Night Lights. Check it and him out!)
