Rabbits do shed and required free choice hay.  So your house will require more vaccuming and sweeping.
Rabbits are crepuscular, meaning they sleep at night, and dose during the day.  So they are most active in the morning and evening when most people are home.
If you work the swing shift, your rabbit won't see much of you.
Rabbits don't bark, and are unlikely to wake your neighbors.
There is no such thing as a watch rabbit.
Rabbits fit well in apartments, as they do not require a yard, or long walks.
Rabbits are not a good idea if you want a jogging partner.
Rabbits can learn many commands and tricks.
Rabbits are not always the most obedient animals.
Those who are allergic to dogs and cats, may not be allergic to rabbits.
Those who have no known animal allergies may discover they are allergic to rabbits.
Rabbits will not drool on your shoes.
