| I was in a big dark room watching UHF with a bunch of Stupids. There were other people there too, most of whom were talking very loudly. We were all getting highly irritated. Finally, Katia stood up, went over to them, and yelled at them until they left. At intermission, I had to walk home because it was too late for me to stay out. I was walking home, and a man came up to me and offered me a book. It was Star Trek. I politely declined, on the basis that I already owned it. He tried a Star Wars novel, then Harry Potter, Dragonsinger, and a few other Anne McCaffrey books…all of which I owned. He then tried, in desperation, a book called Chaos by Anne McCaffrey. It had a silver cover and looked a lot like Chrome. I was trying to decide if I should take it when I woke up. My Take On It Next Dream |
