| Dream A Little Dream ... |
04/26/02 - I love to be intrigued ... I have been fortunate to be intrigued many times. It’s intrigue that has led me to many memorable adventures. Intrigue: To arouse the curiosity or interest of by unusual, unique, new, or otherwise fascinating qualities. I tend to gravitate to the unusual or unique, or maybe I’m a magnet. It makes no difference. I’d be very bored without those otherwise fascinating qualities around me. |
This is Just to Say I have eaten the plums that were in the icebox and which you were probably saving for breakfast Forgive me they were delicious so sweet and so cold. William Carlos Williams |
This is to Confess I took the little brass bell you had been carrying in your pocket and that you thought you had lost in Golden Gate Park I'm sorry it reminded me of you so charming and so precious. Cathy L. Hanlon |
I used some poetic license here. I didn’t really take the little brass bell. It was thrown at me. I was attending a free concert in Sharron Meadows. The charmer was a beautiful long haired stranger. I still have that little bell, thirty-three years later. The poetry is really getting to me. Only a few days left to National Poetry Month. |
