Ex-Dreams

It's not natural no matter how kind and generous I
Make it out to be, it's only tolerance and that's not
Taken graciously rather settled for as resistance  to
The pressure ...
You're energy buffing me.  Been trying to remember
How to say that like past night dreams, sleeping wide
Awake with your thoughts echoing against
The tenseness of my skin ...
Mind rape, that's what it is only pleasures you
That peacefulness be made impure, self
Becomes an overbearing shadow cast indiscriminately
And precisely at the same tempo ...
It doesn't work, you know
Your pathos strengthens my lullaby.
